Understanding Hmong Alphabet (My Easy Hmong)

This video is great for both beginners and advanced readers of Hmong. Many advanced readers are "sight readers" - which means you can only read words you already know very well. When you read words you are not familiar with or when you are tasked to read faster and fluently, you find yourself struggling. Just wondering how come you list the tones in that order. I learned to memorize them in a different order: ua s b j m v g d and it sounds like a song.

I learned it the way it was taught to my great uncle (some of the first RPA students). He taught my dad. This is the standard way I've heard it most of the time. This is also the easiest to memorize because you can hear the distinctions of the tones from the highest and lowest first, then slowly towards the others. I'm sure there are many other ways.
