Outstanding video Jer. I just want to say that was some 'relaxing' extreme adverse conditions with minimal gear. One of the greatest gifts you have given me from all the videos is a sense or preparedness. I have purchased, tested, and packed the gear you use from Pomoly to Boreal and beyond! I have it packed in my truck every time I go out past cell signal and more. I have only hot tent camped a dozen or so times, but knowing it is there helps. The trails in New Mexico can be harsh and surprising in the least with crazy elevation changes as you reach the Colorado territory. Thank you Sir again for sharing all of this!

According to our license plates, Michigan is a “winter wonderland” and these videos are getting me more inspired to camp in less than ideal conditions. Thanksgiving weekend I made my first ever camping trip after October. Granted it was a large dome tent with a buddy heater but ya gotta start somewhere. Keep it up. Loving the content.

This is probably my favourite video so far. I watched twice and I know I will watch it again in the near future. Love the ambience of that orange tent in the snow storm on the Oceanside and those wild wild waves. Of course, you did all the hard work again. I just sat back and enjoyed. Helpful Hint: to those who are camping out using a wood stove,always bring extra wood with you because sometimes their may not be any woods or trees where you camp.

How interesting it was to see how much gear you could fit in your backpack. I must say; that you really appear as a true nature lover. I myself am a "frozen stick" by nature, but I can see the beauty of sitting and enjoying the fantastic view you had over the sea while enjoying a hot cup of coffee. You are definitely one of the coolest guys out here doing this….and you are absolutely correct about the ocean. It’s beautifully scary and intimidating to me but also one of the most breathtaking sights ever. Love the sounds! Even though the waves are repetitive they each sound so differently to me. Wish I had a tiny house right here! Thank you so much for this! I’m 70 years old and at times like these wish I could start over and do just this. Beautiful….
The scene was GORGEOUS!! It actually reminded me of the film "The Day After Tomorrow." A film about global warming. Thanks for explaining more about what you bring with you: snacks, dinner, etc. Plus what you do after going inside for the night and possible risks to look out for. Look forward to future episodes and gradually working through older ones.

This winter have been very brutal for me. Thank God I got a sleeping bag couple blankets and also propane one eye stove. Definitely helps for boiling water soup's as well.

I've always wanted to try winter camping. Along the Mississippi river if camping in summer we deal with mosquitos, tics, gnats, etc. Really think winter is the time to camp IF you have the proper equipment, which I do not! Love to watch your videos!

some how I liked this an year old video - dated 8th Feb 2022 - not sure how many times I watched this ,
it shows the hard work and commitment to shoot on harsh cold and windy weather and travelling with minimal.
This also shows that we can live with minimal facilities.

Love that stove. Wish we’d had that when I was Scouting back in the late 60’s. Snow camping in those days involved a lot more primitive gear. Of course we were tougher then (ya right… wink, wink).
