My cat enjoys watching camping videos. Not sure why but he does. Maybe the wood stove. I love them.
My house that I designed had a wood burning stove Vermont Castings. It was hunter green baked on enamel. I loved it. I loved watching the fire burn.
Watching these videos is almost like meditation for me. It's so calming to focus in on every little detail at the campsite and enjoy the gorgeous environment. It completely clears my mind.

what I always get out of your videos is living in the moment, and how the preparation of the campsite, firewood, food, and drink is part of the experience and not standing in the way of it. It's almost ceremonial. I know you're sometimes racing against sundown or the elements, but it usually seems very deliberate and unhurried. Also, you should carve a little pizza paddle for your oven. 😀

I am totally ignorant about camping etc and hated it in wet horrible England as a child but these are different. Im driving fromNorthern Spain to the Costa Blanca in my faithful old Discovery and dog just for an experience as I have been bedridden with horrendous anxiety and miss being outside so much. Anyway I want to do something for me after having 7 children and every family crap under the sun thrown at me over the years! I am slowly getting there.. it’s been utter hell . Watching these is therapeutic for me and probably many others who have issues of their own so they cannot get out, so Thank you for sharing. 😊

The last few I have watched, you had Boomer. It is so weird seeing you alone. I know this is earlier in the year and in the snow and I don't know when you started taking Boomer with you. I think I can safely assume Boomer would have been really bogged down in this deep snow. You would have had to carry him on top of your pack! I like that tent. The double door vestibule is awesome.

1. How far were you from the nearest civilization in this video?
2. Aren't you afraid of wild animal encounters and how do you deal with them?

Watching all your hot tent winter videos,I wonder, is it possible to have a cold tent in summer camping?
I camp near ocean and lake in summer to stay cooled off
Haha it’s possible to do anything! I’ve seen air conditioning set ups. Just not worth the hassle. Would take a lot of power to run air con. At that point get s small trailer. At least they hold cold in a little bit. Shade is about all you can do and a well ventilated tent.

I really enjoyed this camping adventure! I think I say this in each post, but again, I learned something new. I don't think I ever would have thought to dig down in the snow like you did in the vestibule. Great idea and very useful! Thank you Jeremy for sharing another great idea with us.

How come the warm air stays inside in your tent. Look. A very large leak. At the back of your stove ! Ang maybe. Your back pack if it is inside your tent. It makes. More warmer. Why. Bec. The space that. Warm air cycles. Are too small
