We do lots of camping in SE Oklahoma in the winter and I donât recall going and it not raining. We love it and embrace it. Less people, cool temps, creeks are flowing and the small waterfalls come to life. Lots of positives.

Iâm down the highway over at Huntsville State Park and yea that down pour yesterday was definitely something!!! It gave me time to embrace Mother Nature and relax. I was able to get up and drive out to Livingston and visit Lake Livingston State Park for the first time this morning and WOW!!! Thatâs an absolutely beautiful Park and area. Noticing I had 0 to 2 bars of cellphone reception through the park, a backup plan is in place for the trip with the wife there in August.

We'll be visiting Lake Livingston State Park in a few weeks. Excited to visit again. I think we were there last in 2014. Enjoy Huntsville SP! Also a beautiful place!
Very similar to a rainy day in a cabin by a small lake in Maine. Something about the rain on the roof ` Heavy eye lid time.

I grew up in Livingston and didn't know about this park. HOW??? LOL Have fun and I can't wait for the video. Y'all are in my home town.
That is what's so amazing about these parks... there are so many more than anyone knows about. They're just kind of tucked away all over the place!
We carry a lot of movies, some old and some new but thatâs what we watch. Itâs also a good time to do some extra cleaning.
We have are few DVDs on board also, Nathan.

Rain - not bad, but thunder boomies are not so good. TV = DVDs. No problem with reception or internet quality. Good day to plan and talk and watch the rain. We visited the Tiffin Factory on a rainy day. Wife shopped one of her iconic quilting stores on a very rainy day. Really like a good book and often read on a bad day while doing laundry. :)

That's what we had when we were on Lake Fayette. It was a soaker here yesterday.
@@rvamericayall Yes one of our friends got like 6.75 inches - I have downsized all of our DVD movies into 2 zip holders that we have in the cupboard for days like those. Also cleaning the coach would be a top priority and I always like to bake on those days also.

Get a game console, I have a Xbox one in my little 16 ft. I brought my first camper last September looking forward to 2020 road trip/camping but noooooo China drop the ball causing everyoneâs 2020 travel plans crashing. Iâve been camping in the back yard for two months now and Iâm heading to a nursery today to put some shrubs and plants to make it look like a natural setting! I love it, the dogs on the other hand needs time to adjust to small quarters. However they were happy when I set up the bed for them.
Glad you're at least getting to enjoy some outside time. Sounds like you're creating an awesome oasis.

Yep, definitely do the board games and catch up on a nice novel we had been meaning to get to! We actually love the sound of thunderstorms and rain, so that is kind of awesome to hear if we have to be stuck inside! You are right, Tom...a bad day RV'ing is better.... You should look into a sprint 5G hotspot. I get service everywhere across the continental USA and I have 100GB of data per month plus a phone line with unlimited call/text/data + extra 20gb included tethering for $108/mo, and that includes all the taxes and fees. You can't beat it! I never have to rely on the internet at the campgrounds. =) - bloggin brandi

Where did you get the covers for your captain chairs and do you like them
I asked the same question a few weeks ago. They forward a video titled FAQ and they said that the covers came from the original owners of the MH. rvtexasyall.com/rv-lifestyle/rvtexasyall-faqs-2018-08. On the inside of the covers it has a brand name of www.aegiscover.com/. I contact them and they said they were only wholesale. They gave me a contact of www.superlamb.com/. Viewing their online website I have not seen the same covers. I have yet to contact them.

We put in a DVD player and keep old movies on hand and some tv show seriesâs, for instance we have the Cheers series. Or we do some reading in the peacefulness of the rain.

I know you've talked about the cost of RVing, but a more in depth video would be interesting. Also, how do you keep in touch with your relatives. Lastly, how do you deal with on going health issues for both of you? Keep safe and wishing you well!

Hey guys! You are camping in my backyard lol. We love Wolf Creek and visit often. Have even camped there 15 minutes down the road. You should make a run into Livingston for Mexican and a margarita at Patrons which is a face. The feels like temp is 113 today so stay cool!

Hi Stacie and Tom, When we went Rving in USA with our kids a priority was to pick out a board game at Walmart and we all had so much fun. Great video again. It seems to be a bit easier to book campsites in the state parks and COE parks right now. We are in a COE park near Tulsa and it's less than half full.
We're definitely seeing that during the week. Weekends are filling up in the parks we've been to so far.
Y'all are just TOO awesome. That's why they don't let you out of Texas! We're having a rainy day here in Summerdale, Alabama!

Oh, Tom! You have been socially distanced tooooo long! LOL But seriously, I think you have figured out that meteorologists don't have all the answers!! I think most people who grew up watching hurricanes and tropical storms (remember the grocery sacks with the tracking maps?!) are pretty good at assessing forecasts. I can't wait to see more of that park you're in!! We are counting down the days till this weekend - first camping trip of 2020-- too long coming! Stay cool!!

Good Morning Y'all âïž! I've been known to pull the coach out of the garage during a slow steady rain for the sole purpose to get a good nap in, so I won't judge if you'd miss one upload đ! When we've been out on the road and weather hasn't cooperated with our plans, we love to take the toad and scout out the area for places/things we can or may want to do. Exploring the local food scene is another favorite too. On a side note: some of my best fishing trips have been in the rain! Stay safe and Happy trails y'all! đ·
