In this Episode of the HandBag Husband we talk about some of the Hermès handbags we turned down, on this last trip to Europe. Also we talk about what are some of the reasons we decided not to buy mostly the non-quota bags that we got offered, and which bags we did buy.

No, I did not lose a bet, but the foundation of Handbag Husband is to follow along as we learn more about the Hermès brand, develop relationships with our sales associates from one side of the globe to another, and pursue some amazing handbags. Furthermore, with genuine interest, I want to learn more about what makes Hermès such an amazing brand and be able to fully embrace and appreciate the art form.

that's a really weak argument, sorry but Coco has been for many decades. Carl isn't 'hurting' either (RIP) so your argument 'buying reps is hurting the brands' is nonsense. You're also not 'taking' a cent from these designers, as most ppl who buy replica Birkin's etc would never contemplate or be able to afford 50k (or even 20,000) on a pre loved, let alone buy one new, so that argument is also moot. Claiming the 'stitching is superior on genuine bags" really??? So you can tell the difference between stitching on a Juki or a Singer sewing machine? I doubt that, cos the only diff is the quality of materials used to make a bag. So if you find someone using top grain, trust me, you won't be able to tell the difference unless someone has a receipt.The ppl who make reps often have the same skill level as an atelier's employed by Chanel, Gucci, etc. They're just not in Spain or Paris. It's funny, using reverse psychology just makes ppl think of all the stupid reasons ppl choose genuine over replica. The only reason you'd buy authentic comes down to snobbery, and one's personal insecurity about owning a bag made by an employee of a French house, or Asian. Saying people are diverting money away from multi-million dollar corporations is stupid, when it's actually stupid to pay that much money just so they can afford their expensive stores & advertising campaigns, also the SA's and managers. The actual bag - the material and hardware only costs a few hundred to make. THAT is what I consider a 'rip off'. So when the material and workmanship are exactly the same, why can't we choose the cheaper one? I usually buy my bags at *preluxscom* .
I love your purple bag. Where did you get the purple one. I wish I could find a *esluxy* in the purple... Any suggestions where I could get a lilac or lavender color chanel?
The leather on the 24/24 looks yummy! The horseshoe stamp is a special order stamp. It must have been a bag someone ordered and turned down. That's probably why it's in a special or uncommon leather. Either way, it's a score in my book! 🤎

When I was 12 my mom took me to the LV on Bloor Street in Toronto. I had my fake LV from *preluxscom* on my arm and thought I was cute. The sweet sales ladies let me try on a bag and a pair of heels knowing we were not wealthy and couldn't afford to purchase anything. It as really nice. No one seemed to care I had a fake bag and I felt special. They even gave me a paper shopping bag which I used as a lunch bag for weeks after! :) Who cares if people don't have real ones? I'm 30 now and ironically, although I can afford them I still prefer real people with fake bags than fake people with real bags. Just saying :) (not that everyone who carries a real one is bad or vice versa.) Just means I don't care if people carry fakes.
I have a replica piece in damier ebene its 6 ring key clay that looks really good after 4 years canvas look perfect and I also have a authentic mini pouchette that after 6 months of sitting in my purse the corners began to fade turned black sent pics to my sales associate he sent them for review they said that it was just normal wear and tear . After a Year that piece is fading everywhere and the chain is fading also after having it 3 year and it looks worse then any fake piece. So now I prefer my small leather good to be *esluxy* because I’ll never purchased a small leather good from Louis Vuitton again and pay that much for them to tell you that it’s just regular wear and tear.

Is there a horseshoe stamp on the 24/24? If so that means it was a special order bag that someone designed but decided not to purchase. It’s beautiful.

I found out the *esluxy* I'm having which I was considering for real .Somebody gifted me and made me feel that the gift was so expensive. i found out the stitching thing on the side straps, dropping of canvas, quality of leather on the straps helpful keep the good work going on ...Thank you so much
