LADAKH NOMADIC FESTIVAL - 2022

Ladakh Cultural Academy, Leh organised Ladakh Nomadic Festival, showcasing nomadic life and culture in its pristine form on August 20 and 21 ang Chibra, Kargyam Lalok Changthang.
Main objective of the festival is to celebrate the challenging Nomadic life well within their own territory, letting their younger educated nomadic youth realise
the beauty and uniqueness of nomadic culture they are living. Ladakh Nomadic Festival also aims to celebrate life and glory of Changpa Heros like Ra-zhees (shepherds), Yak-zhees, Bar-zhees and Ta-zhees always
happy accepting challenges in their way and dedicating their life for the survival of others in a way. The festival also aims to preserve nomadic culture and tradition.

Wow Sach a fabulous and beautiful place, proud to be changpa, and today I really understand that How important our organic and old our manners, it's really amazing to save our nomadic, now a days it's to hard to recall our old mother tongue, organic food, our traditional dress and ect..... please keep save our own manners, it's our own responsibility.
