When you start to paint use a spray bottle of water and mist the floor so any dust the settles wont rise back up into the paint walking while walking around
When i watch these vids and i see you use the missos (gf) car to put all that stuff in and I think dude, she has to be one of the most supporting person towards your vision and dreams 🤘

Looking good man! Never commented on one of your videos before, but just wanted to suggest taking the rear quarter glasses out before paint. I'm a glass tech, and most people don't realise hyundai quarters just bolt in (three 10mm and push like crazy) will make a much nicer job. Keep up the awesome content. From UK 👍🏻

Make sure you use the air filter you already opened as the exhaust filter so anything that's gotten trapped on it will be blown out instead of in.

Hey robbie just wanted to say I've been a sub for about 2 years now and I wanted to thank you for being an inspiration when it comes to buying cars and to just go at it on fixing and building them last I bought my first project a 95 3000gt I've been working on it during quarantine and I've had a blast even with the ups and downs but I actually got it running today

Robbie u should bolt the wood on the wall side to the wall and put the rest on hinges that way u can fold it up and put an attachment on the wall to hook it up to so that u can fold it down when u need it to make this work u would have to cut the cross beams in half and hinge them aswell so it doesnt hit the celing

Great video!.. Robbie there is a dent above the passenger rear tire on the genisis, make sure you get that fixed before you paint... also wet the floor when painting so everything sticks to the water dont tarp the ground cause paint flakes fly up in your paint.

Nice paint booth. Old man told me to wet the floor when going to paint to help with dust. The overspray sticks to the water and cleans up nice.
Funny story.... For years I needed a truck but I put a trailer hitch on my 2002 BMW Z3 M roadster. I had to custom make the hitch but after upgraded the Z3M for all the extra power and torque. Dyno 330rwhp/300tq NA on a stripped down diet 2100# Z3M that S54 with a 6 speed SMGii swap it with bigger brakes it can tow like a cummins diesel. Also you don’t need a huge trailer 5’x8’ is great.

Before you paint your car wet the floor and use paint prep or wax and grease with no lint paper towels, blue shop towels work good . Then use a tack cloth before paint
Just prime the putty spots and when you paint spray the primer spots first and continue spraying the entire car and spray over the lrimer spots as well
Basically you are adding an extra coat of paint on the primer spots . It saves the amount of paint you use.
No need to prime the entire car as it looks in great shape

hey robbie, make sure you empty that tank every night ( and leave empty overnight, water can and does build up in the tank ) and check the water trap daily.

Make sure you get a auto drain for the moisture in the tank. That tank will accumulate water. I have seen one company destroy 2 of those exact compressors because they don't drain them.

Ingersoll rand is one of the top manufacturer for air tools. Most mechanics swear by them so I’m guessing that compressor is top knotch

Robbie before you trow any paint onto Genny make sure you wet the booth floor so any dust in the air will settle on the water and not get kicked up when you walk around

Once you’re done painting you should cut open the overspray eliminator 5000 to see if if paint is inside the trash bags

What if you put hinges on the roof part of the paint booth and make the walls detachable so you can just lift it up and connect the walls when you need it and fold it down when you don’t need it. I know it sounds easier than it may be but could save time and space.

Good choice for a compressor, glad you didnt buy an air dryer. There are other options for drying the air
You can buy an air line dryer at your spray gun , it takes the moisture out of the air and they work pretty well.
