    Nice review man! You got what I would call the unicorn KRX. Very very few 2020’s got the updated lower arms/knuckles. You got the updated parts and the good rebates! I bought mine back in January so I got no rebates and my lower knuckle blew out on my very first ride 😒. Seeing yours with the updated parts makes me so jealous lol. Kawi says beginning of august the parts will finally be in to upgrade mine under warranty.

    Cool review, I purchased the 2021 trail edition. We test drove an x3, Polaris’s turbo machine and didn’t bother with the talon. I’m a can am guy and ended up getting the Kawasaki. The suspension, diff lock, and room is what sold us. I will probably end up getting one of the can Ams later but we are really happy with our purchase and can’t wait to pick it up on Monday.

    Excellent review, thinking of trading my RZR RS1 in for one of these. Tryed to make the RS1 into a trail machine. The rocky trails here in Arizona and sitting in the middle bounces me around from side to side too much. Went and sat in one today at ride now in Peoria. Had a peak at one of these today. I'm torn between it and the Polaris General. I want the cab room, great ride. I know this has both. I have sat in the General, it was ok. Do you think the seat can be raise in the front to provide a slightly more reclined position? Also, I'm wondering if the dead pedal can be removed or cut down. I dislike not being able to stretch my leg out.
    Good review.

    • @OdysseyOffroad
      @OdysseyOffroad  Před 3 lety

      The general is in a completely different class than the KRX. The krx has a long travel suspension. The general does not the general has dual arms front and rear its 100% different machine night and day. The krx is a sport machine in class if a talon rzr xp1000. The general is a sport/utility machine. Im sure you can do something to raise the seat but the dead pedal is part of the floor. the first question you need to ask yourself is what you want to do with the machine because you're looking at two totally different machines.

    Hi for riding trails like hatfield mccoy, do/would you prefer the X3 or the KRX. I rented an X3 120HP 64" with normal key (70% power) and put 200+ miles on in 2 days at Hatfield. I found it a bit uncomfortable, a bit hard to see out of and fun as hell to drive (my first time driving a SXS) Coming from a WR450F I always like a lot of power but suspension and comfort at age 58 is also key. Trying to decide between these 2 machines and having a hard time. Dont have any way to test drive a KRX other than doing a lap around the parking lot at the dealer... If I get a tune, will I be happy with the KRX POWER? for occasional aggressive trail riding? Any feedback would be great. Also was considering the Maverick Sport but not too seriously. Thanks for the video!

    • @OdysseyOffroad
      @OdysseyOffroad  Před 3 lety

      That's a great question and funny you should mention the 120 horsepower Maverick x3. I actually had that exact machine. I absolutely feel like the KRX is probably the best trail machine out there as long as you're not restricted by with as it's about 69 inches wide. I have a few more videos with the KRX one of them running at the sand dunes with an x3 there is no issue with power because it's all in the mid-range on this machine and that's what you're going to use in the trails. I think if you like a more upright seating position and better views and the best most comfortable suspension go with the KRX.
