- čas přidán 23. 01. 2021
- Claire Saffitz, author of the cookbook “Dessert Person,” shows off her ultimate party snack recipe: pigs in a brioche blanket. This classic pigs in a blanket recipe gets a boost from rich and buttery brioche dough. Claire demonstrates how to make her signature brioche, as well as a creamy and tangy dipping sauce made with mustard. These aren’t your mama’s piggies. OMG!! So true!
Claire's going full Heisenberg with that fly lol
Claire is a racist who only ditched BA when it became inconvenient to associate with them.

@@destah3269 Claire left BA in solidarity with the people being mistreated/discriminated against,, there’s a difference
@SmokeKing No, she did it cause it was the right thing to do. To stand up for her fellow co-workers, she was/is not management at BA & she has NO control over what the company did or the policies they enacted. That doesn't make her a racist and if you think that does then I seriously feel sorry for you being so utterly misguided.

that sound effects tho when Claire was putting in the butter,, the editor deserves some moolah for that lols

It’s not so much related to your comment but editing wise but BA’s (gourmet makes) camera crew, editing team, the whole production deserves more credit... they made her come across funny and relatable while other channels and her own she comes across as almost boring, monotoned and trust me it breaks my heart to say that.
@@Jhetx I like this Claire more. It feels more genuine and calming and informative to see her actually baking instead of being forced into artificially stressful conditions.
@@shadmandem918 I get that what you’re saying. It seems more “structured Claire” but I enjoyed the combo of the two when Dan from BA had more control, he made the Claire that we enjoy today, he got the balance right. my opinion.
got some Hunzi vibes from this editing
I love Claire's tutorials because she explains things so clearly for beginners. She gives so much step by step information that really helps you know what you are looking for and trying to to.

This music is too intense for Claire's vibe.
LMAO. I started watching the video and I started making comment predictions and someone mentioning the music being too intense was one.
Not just the music but whats with the sound effects!
Came here to say this
This thread needs to get lives.
all the music choices and sound effects were completely unnecessary. Claire doesn’t need the extra frills 🤦🏽♀️

The music makes this video SO stressful! I just want to world to become warm and comforting when I watch Claire bake!
In England our pigs in blankets is just small sausages wrapped in bacon. This is very interesting.
I'm going to do these later on today with sausage > bacon > brioche
@Con. Usually in America when something is wrapped in bacon, it’s “bacon-wrapped ___”. Like bacon-wrapped sausages or bacon-wrapped shrimp. If it’s “in a blanket,” the blanket is a type of bread. Just FYI if you’re ever dining in America. 😉
@@jamesriggs3470 Whew! Be sure to cook that bacon first before wrapping it in bread. Better yet, cook it crispy and chop it up. Then sprinkle it over the top instead of or w/the sesame seeds. Yummy, yummy, yum!! 😋
Same in Ireland 🇮🇪
It's a sausage roll not a pig in blanket
Here, There and EveryClaire...

The 80's electro hits when the knobs of butter gets added... my jam!!!!

Great video, I think the background music goes a little too hard though, it makes it a bit stressful to watch

Seeing her venture off was something I didn’t expect. I like her so much more now and now I get to see her individual personality which isn’t what I thought it was. Her food always delivers though.
Claire chasing a fly like my dogs when I say squirrel lol

The butter addition sound effect was genius.

Pigs in Blankets is almost always a good idea. Polish sausage works too!

I'd love to try this recipe but with apple and sage sausages x
Never thought I'd see Bon Appetit on bootleg Bon Appetit but here we are. Wild.
Totally!’ It’s like ordering Bon Appetit from the “Wish” app but I like it!!
It's just their editing that's not giving the give, the background music is so loud for no reason, they can't replicate Bon appétit but at least we have Claire 🤷♀️
yeah honestly fuck BA
this recipe is really popular here in brazil, you can find it in any bakery here
the butter sound effect O M G
Those are sausage rolls in England, usually made with puff pastry. Pigs in blankets are usually served with turkey at Christmas and consist of sausages wrapped in streaky bacon
The sound effects are my favourite thing about this video.
Oh, a Brazilian staple. :) we have it in almost every cheap place. :)
I'm gonna make these for the Super Bowl, thanks Claire, you silver Fox.
missing your episodes and segments claire! ❤️
Is it normal that I hit like before the video even starts?? My devotion to Claire sometimes scares me.
this comment made it scary...😅
yeah it is very scary
No its not... what a weird thing to comment. 🤔 why would you say that?
More Claire content and I'm happy about it
In Russia we cook something very similar to this (literally called "hot dog in dough"), but usually the hot dog is not covered by dough all the way and it is served not cut.
Exactly same in Europe, German regions. We call it "Sausage in a nightgown" we mostly also don't cut em. In some bavarian regions, they go heavy on the honey mustard with it. And if i remember correctly we take puff pastry instead of bree-osh (heartwarming pronunciation btw) of course we have another sausage, so yes its totally not the same, while its totally the same🤣
Same in Hong Kong, these are just hot dog buns, available at most bakeries.
In America, they're almost always "cocktail weenies" (mini hot dogs about 2 inches long that come about 40 to a pack) wrapped in a ready made crescent roll (the kind from a "pop can"). Claire has made them gourmet and nobody in America who wants pigs-in-a-blanket would make the dough from scratch. 🤣
Happy Pigs N' Blanket Day 😋👊
Get That Fly Sweetie 🤣👊‼️
