Hell yea. E28 M5 is my dream but I did just get a one owner flawless e28! 535i with 89k original miles. The doctor that owned it had his office built into the side of his home so the car stayed in the garage. Besides BBS and bilsteins it's stock and beautiful. His son's inherited It and they obviously not car guys so I scored it for $1500 and it's a keeper . I'm putting turbo parts together

Dude. Keep it up! One thing: You *DID NOT* get any more power than the regular E28 big block. My 533i had 182 hp the 535is had 181 in fact you LOST one HP but they retuned for torque. Anyway go find a 533i flywheel or have yours pigged out and you will enjoy the throttle response that the early 533i had. Night and Day. Also order a Mark D'Sylva chip you cannot go wrong. I've had chips in all my E28's except the first one and this one is better than Conforti or anything else. It works right off the bottom end to midrange and a bit on top as well, trust me on this.

I've always been familiar with them as my friend's dad owned Jaguar Cleveland Volvo BL BMW in the 60's 70's 80's 90's until the invent of the global car empire which they kinds of started with Motorcars. what a beat. got a 85 535i myself. Some of the coolest cars out there.. like german muscle cars! but dependable and comfy enough to daily (when sorted, aircon, etc. may i reccomend highly - theres a fella who makes a conversion kif from the old tubular styke fuses to the modern blade one and man, i wish he had existed when *my* fuses started to get funky. cars back to life now but took her off the roasd for a minute. they can be tempermental, but if you know their quirks, just lovely cars and i get smiles and thumbs up all day long when rolling mine, which us kinda fun :)
These are pretty decent, back when I was 15, I drove one of these flat out from Newport Beach to San Jose at 142, bouncing off the rev limiter there and back. It's needed coolant after though but that's it.
