      1. You are SO PRETTY! I hope you KNOW. 2. I'm leaning Soleil, partly for cost reasons... It appears to be simply a more pigmented version of Peche, so maybe I could use less and make it last longer? I'd have to be more careful applying it of course. Does this make sense, or...?

      Color wise my heart say peau de peche, but I really want the shiny gold packaging. Does Gucci ever have a buy one, get one free deal? :)

      Totally agree - I think it works more for everyday if you don’t want a super bronzed face. I think it’s my top 🔝

  • @summerintherockies9530

    I bought Peau de Peche, which is that 'no makeup' makeup look that I like. I need to get comfortable using the Biscuit Contour on my forehead, which is really easy to blend with my finger and I may try one of the brushes. Thnak you, Grabrielle, for your thoroughness - you are relatable!

    Great video, thank you! I have all three shades & love them equally. The Blender Brush Gucci uses makes a tremendous difference, that I haven't been able to replicate with any other brush. The Peau de Rose is fabulous as a very high-on-the-outer-cheekbone highlighter, where it comes off as less sparkly, and it's the most gorgeous eyeshadow I own! Love your reviews, keep them coming, please! xo

    Your video was so helpful - I have now got the Peau de Peche which is beautiful - ouch the cost is huge but managed to swing it for a birthday present! I did find it difficult to get product onto brushes I have - I used the Real Technique buffer but had to really swirl in there to get enough product. I am uk-based and can't get the Sephora Pro Foundation brush as French site does't seem to sell this brush. Merit doesn't seem to be available in the UK either?

    Lovely! I have peau du peche and use it on my lips, too, with a little clear gloss over it. So great to have in my bag for all-over touch ups. I’m glad you said that about peau du rose-I’m not a big glitter fan. I’m waiting to get through some of my blushes so I “need” one of the baby cheeks ❤️

    • @GabrielleMeloff
      @GabrielleMeloff  Před 3 lety

      Never tried that - might give it a try next time I do my makeup. And yes their blushes are beautiful too (I have 3 shades).

  • @floralaura2543

    The solei looks more pinky than the peche somehow to me. I have the peche one but haven’t been reaching for it. Will try it on its own, I have mostly just tried as a blush topper. Nice video!

    • @GabrielleMeloff
      @GabrielleMeloff  Před 3 lety

      I found that it looked like that when I first applied it (and the brush was totally clean so it wasn’t from any other product). But once it was all applied and I stepped back, it pulled more bronzed

    Love all your videos!! ❤️ Could you maybe do a video about all the products in the Holiday edition Le Box? Do you know if they will launch those shades individually? Mimi and Nectar look so pretty and wearable. :)

    • @GabrielleMeloff
      @GabrielleMeloff  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes! I’m not sure - I’ve asked WA and didn’t get a straight response (they said something along the lines of “at this time they are limited edition only” which makes me think they MAY release them as part of the permanent collection).
      I will do a collection/swatch of the baby cheeks, highlights I have!

      @@GabrielleMeloff Thank you Gabby! That would be so useful! 🙏🏼❤️ I also can’t wait until they launch their new reusable packaging... they said they will slowly introduce it throughout this year (starting with the compacts), so I’m considering waiting for the new packaging before trying out their products. 😌♻️

    I just received Peau de pêche from Sephora (Canada). I was expecting a highlighter - as the name implies - I was disappointed initially but I used it as you recommended and it is indeed a hybrid blush/bronzer/highlighter. It does create a dark cast along the side of my face when I look straight ahead (in the mirror) but I have cheekbones so it’s not an issue. It is flattering on me and I love the way it melts into my mature skin (normal-dry). I believe the name of the product is misleading - and the reason there are negative reviews. I almost purchased the peau de Rosé but I now know how disappointed I would have been - perhaps the shade could be reformulated with shimmer instead of glitter (the Chantecaille Lumière rose highlighter [LE in 2019, I believe] is absolutely gorgeous on fair skin, and it would be a good shade to reproduce). Thank you for the video.

    • @GabrielleMeloff
      @GabrielleMeloff  Před 3 lety

      The name is definitely a bit deceiving because I would NEVER apply to just my cheekbones as a traditional highlighter. But use with a sponge for a less streaky look
