There are few sports that you can play as an adult without going to professional level, and riding is the best one.

I am looking at a used Whitaker Rome saddle purchased at The Equinery, by a friend. My fitter comes on Saturday, so I hope you see this comment. I’m unfamiliar with the synthetic material used for the inner skirt and panels. The saddle doesn’t come with the adjustments for changing the flocking, but may need to be adjusted. The Equinery is sending me a wide gullet bar so it’s likely to fit, but I need to know more about changing the flocking. One more question, could you tell me how best to clean and maintain the synthetic leather? Will saddle cleaners used on the calf skin upper seat and skirt be okay, or will it need a different cleaner?
