This teaching is so informative and extremely intriguing. I just want to say that last Sunday, that preaching about "force yourself " really hit me with holy spirit conviction. I'm attempting to read 3 chapters 3 times a day. Thanks for what you do pastor Kim.

I think I understand;
Seeing a literal translation that we can interperate rather than a 'convinient' translation is a mark towards accuracy rather than manipulation.
"Ears opened" we can interperate in a few different ways to come to the truth but "Body prepared" assumes the intent. It's better to go with "Ears opened" to let God speak and us work to figure it out when we don't understand. Sometimes I think things are left a little obtuse so we go to him for understanding and not to rely on our own wisdom. He wants us to meditate (Think deeply on) his word.
Update; And I see you work through the scripture to bring us to understanding! The bible interprets the bible :D

‼️ I believe this does exemplify the veracity of the Scripture. Sometimes read Brenton’s English Septuagint (1884), and MANY MANY MANY verses/chapters are completely missing, contradictory, and/or false statements. But situations, like the one being discussed, indicate the Authorized Bible’s translators weren’t biased and decided to translate accurately, instead of trynna mend a puzzle together that doesn’t fit. Within the Bible there’s a few instances, like this one, where a reference has variations: I believe God *intentionally* creates these variations to make it applicable to a specific situation, lesson, and/or doctrine. I also believe they’re ALWAYS true statements because whatever the Scripture claims to have said - at that very moment the Scripture itself has actually said it when issuing the statement.
Another example is, in James 4:5 the Scripture claims it said something that cannot be found ANYWHERE in the Scripture… either God didn’t want it included in our book that He preserved for us, which is highly possible (doesn’t mean we should go searching for it because God didn’t want us to have it). Or the Scripture literally said “the spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy” at that very moment when it claims to have said it, *NOT* prior to or before then. Also, again, God seems to make the variations Himself to make a point.
