22 years no be joke. But if truly he stole money, and he manipulated the convention; then it’s time we retire him and Obi needs to be careful too.
The party is still being built, in their constitution only the con vention can remove him and NWC can suspend him if he is found guilty but there is no proof of that. The supreme court affirmed him chairman before the election and INEC accepted the convention result so everybody has to bury the hatchet for the good of the party.

I think what Nigerians would have liked to see is for Peter Obi to come from the meeting to sale that he has resolved the issues with NLC and LP rather than coming out to openly take side. How hypocritical can that be when he was not present at the so called party convention in which Abure declared himself the chairman of the party. Is this how he intend to run the party and the country if he ever becomes the president of the country. How can you openly take sides instead of internally reconciling the difference within the party? I think that was a very dangerous move that falls short of the expectation of members of the party. This is a man Nigerians are looking up to and he cannot settles simple misunderstanding within the party. No wonder Mr. Abure has declared him the presidential candidate for 2027 without any primary. The winner here is Mr. Abure who has declared himself as not just the Chairman of the party but the leader at the same time who dictates what has to be done in the Labor Party. What a shame on the leadership of of the party including the BOT. Congratulations to Mr. Abure for the dictatorship role.
