So did I, hell I even watched Syntac and Raasclarks video and STILL didn't fully understand and trust me I tried to understand. And it helped alittle but I was still extremely confused and started to get frustrated when I tried to figure it out myself. And I wanted to give up mutations, but I still needed dinos for my first ever boss fight (started playing befor part 2 came out and I wanted that to be my first boss fight. I don't know why specifically that fight, probably just wanted a good challenge). So I kept looking on CZcams thinking there had to be some good clear guide on CZcams, but like you after 5 videos I was just more confused.
I finally found her videos and everything makes so much more sense now! I am now slowly on my way to getting my army set up for the Rockwell boss fight.

I'm so glad I came across your breeding guides in which you included common questions asked as I could never find anywhere an answer for them. Yea pretty sure you are the only one on you tube that understands breeding, ive watches probably 15 videos over the last 3 days and you have the most simple effective method and clearly the only one who understands breeding. Ive seen videos that breed up to 20/20 then imbreed mutated with mutated until counter reaches beyond 255million then it flips to negative 255million then breed back to zero to start again just to get another 20 mutations lol he even said its the only way and if anyone says different they are idiots lol. Takes 35 generations of imbreed to accomplish. On official with giggas it would take a full year to reset to get back to 0/20. Bravo on all the hard work you've done you need more recognition. *edit* Handsome Squidward lol

Thank You! I finally understood mutation stacking. I've watched so many guides and I still had some doubts. Now everything is clear - first of all, why we don't need (or even don't want) to have the 20/20 mutation in the female. Plus, in many guides I have seen information that we only care about the mutation in the male - you can see that the mutation in the female is also ok, but it requires one more iteration to transfer it to the male. Thanks again!

Handsome Squidward. Great tutorial! I have one more pro tip - if you reached 20/20 on one side and you still far from your desired amount of that particular stat mutations, you might want to consider multiple breeding squads. What you got to do? You breed more mutated males of recent mutations amount and breed them separately with their own squads of 0/0 females. For example, you can have 4 male raptors with 20/20 health mutations breed with 4 squad containing 8 or more 0/0 females each. You breed all 4 squads till you get that +1 to health on one of them. Now you replace old 4 males with new line of males with 21/20 health mutations and repeat same process till you are bored or till you reach hard cap of max dino lvl :D

Excellent! I'm here mostly for the going over 20 thing, and that was perfectly explained. I have also pieced together that if you are at 254 in a stat, you can still add points into it from leveling, but if you go to 255 in a stat, it will not let you put points into it from leveling. I would not recommend that insanity without dino storage mod to autopickup babies. But then you can build elaborate 3 level areas where females can be below and above a male to maximize your output. :D

Handsome Squidward! I think you've done a good job tailoring your content to cater to both the Short & Long Attention Span viewers -- well done and clearest explanation of ark breeding mechanics I've seen among dozens of videos I've studied so far! 8-)

After breeding for a while on ark, I got the problem with both sides being above 20. I looked on CZcams If there is something to make better, but didn't understand why a different yt made it that way.
Next day (today) I found your video and now I understand better, why that different yt breeds his Dinos that way.
You just explained a lot better how good breeding works and showed it in a way, that really just everyone will understand.
    Thanks for this video
The only problem I still have, is that my voidwyrms with good mutations are basically ruined

Finally, I know it's been a long time since this was made but I have watched and read so much about this that I was at the end of the rope with understanding it.... All it took was some pictures of that ugly fish. Thanks alot

Handsome Squidward. Thanks, I had a decent grasp on the mechanics, from a good write-up years back, but couldn't really explain it to my buddy ( Who thrashed his rex line by breeding mutations with mutations) easily.
Going to forward him this video, and you got a sub!
Now the fun task of going through all the past rexs and extracting with ASB trying to find the best point for him to start from again, and name them.

Mutation stacking is somewhat deceptive since a mutation will alter the stat it mutates permanently after that normal Ark stat carrying down to the baby apply.
Thanks for creating guides that are so easy to understand and accurate
