Having RGB definitely helps sell a computer, it's like a car, if it looks good people buy it even if the mechanicals aren't up to much.

PSA: don’t cut metal (or wood) barehanded. Always were gloves and close toed shoes as well as eye protection (preferably goggles). Those sparks you see flying are actually tiny shards of metal. If one of those does get in your eyes, rinse for 15 minutes in any cool water available. Do not rub. It will scratch the lens of you eye (personal experience). 2:02

I had that exact case until very recently! The thermaltake versa h22 is a great case if you need any drives of any kind and is built solidly! Amazing budget case only upgraded because I damaged the side panels a long time ago!

"You are the god of modding; I could not have done it better myself. Let's bow down to the god of modding. Excellent job; that computer case, Tt, is a wonderful canvas for modding. I am very impressed with the modding. Hail to the god of modding, hail to the god of modding, hail to the god of modding..."
I look forward to seeing more of your creative modding art. Please keep them coming.

A jigsaw with a metal cutter can save on the amount of dremel disks you use. I've use it to mod pcs like this.

I personally really like this type of cases, seems like it's a really low end standard but works for basically everything, and it's easy to mod, personally have a Bitfenix Neos and it was my first case and quite happy with it to be honest, for the 40$ that it cost me still standing strong today even after several tweaks on it.
I can recommend them to anyone making a first build.

Great video sir! I've had good luck using pet-proof screen as a mesh material; easy to work with and keeps a little more dust/debris out of the case. 😊

If I do this at some point, I'm using acrylic, properly installed with reinforcing plates and bolted in. What OP is doing might work but is obviously ghetto rigged. The idea would be to make it look original without really spending any more money. I would have got out some white paint on this one and done it up as a white build. I might think it looks like ass, you might think it looks like ass but someone out there has a rosy enough tint on their glasses and a hard on for the latest trend but lacking the money to really afford the white tax who will buy it. Paint is relatively cheap if you buy it by the can, especially white paint. A sprayer is $10 at HF. Throw in the cheap compressor I already have and I can make it look like a factory paint job. Or I can do one better and make it a proper hand-rubbed automotive style paint job and it will look better than the most expensive case on the market.

Look great man. i love to freshen up old cases. Have you thought about doing a burnished/worn looking case? Something like you'd see on a space ship in a work zone?

maybe a silver or gray base coat that once it's painted over can be sanded to show the silver/bare metal appearance below? Some hand painted lettering in a random language that would give off a "user caution" type feel?@@DLMtechgarage

Great timing on this video for me. I just got a used Dremel delivered yesterday and am planning on dressing up an old Thermaltake case. It already has a see through side panel but it's flimsy like cheap single pane glass. I would like to remove the DVD and put a fan in the front if it's possible. There seems to be quite a few old cases that can be had with MB and CPU's lately. Nice score on that one and easy fix for you. What is the rubber stuff edging called that is used or a link to it? That Gorilla snot seems to work good, gotta grab me a tube of that. Great work on that project. I appreciate the good ideas that I can utilize.

Would have gone with a plexi panel, it would look better my dude. They'd cut it for you at the store too, to the size you wanted.
