- When you see a fighter block a punch and land a clean counter, that's not luck -- that's a skill that was developed over hours of repetition. One of the drills to improve your counter-punching capabilities is this trigger counter mittwork drill, great for boxing and MMA.

I keep thinking he's punching him for real everytime shane moves his head😂
Same
0:27 every counter punch in creed😂
I've been studying martial arts for a little over 20 years, seen many techniques from many teachers. I see that you kids are solid, and must of had good teachers yourselves. Good luck to you with your channel.
Bro is probably beating 20 Thugs Alone rn

Super effective compared to traditional counter techniques, used it in sparring today , thanks Shane !
Thank you, Shane and Vince. I always appreciate your insight, wisdom, and practical & effective instruction. God bless you 🥊👊🏾🙏🏾

Sweet video dudes! Hope your trip to Singapore was awesome! 🙏
Gonna help me with my head movement...
Love Ya Shane!!!
My new favorite fight tips video. Great knowledge transfer.
This was the best vid I’ve seen in a while! Thank y’all
I kind of want to see more videos about street fight stuff like there was at the beginning of the channel. I love the direction that it’s taken with Shane turning into more of a coach and talking about ring fighting but I think it’d be pretty cool to make a couple videos from the roots of the channel
Great information and tips really helps 👍
Great video... Just learning these simple basics goes a long way.
Fantastic movement you have there
Lovely technique, easy to implement!
Great tip while in range, Thanks!
i like how shane isn't just a guy who knows not only how to fight, but he also knows the science behind it. he's definitely no idiot
edit: i called shane, kyle. i have no clue why, must've been an accident lmao
Kyle?
sarcasm?
Who tf is kyle ?
Vincent Valentine i think the guy in the vid vince
Who the hell is Kyle?
This was very helpful thank you shane
I've been boxing for a few months now. I have a fight on March 20th. These videos have helped me understand movements and striking/counter striking TREMENDOUSLY. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'm improving rapidly and my trainer says the same thing. AMAZING channel. I'd play if I could!
Ik It was a while ago but did you win?
Great tips! I'll definitely be using this
This is the best counter punching video I'm finding for block counters. Thank you so much bc I'm so bad at striking
awesome enjoyed this one
I just had my first day of sparring. This video is super helpful!!!
Very, very useful. Thanks for sharing!
You guys are good team ..... good energy
Really nice breakdown, Oss!
Great videos. Big Thanks. Wish you all the best !

Really like this one. So useful.
Nice video! Keep it up, Shane
Nice tips!!! I've wondered why i cant counter cleary
And i get the answers from this video!!
Thank you
Thank you very much for this one, I feel like that would be a very nice thing to practice even for advanced practicioners. Looking forward to drill that and use it in sparring
@762x35mm yeah I love that since most stuff on his channel is targeted towards beginners or even non-practicioners I feel like
Great episode!
Man, you guys are nothing but awesome 💪
Great video!
💯💯💯💯💯 Thanks Shane & Vince !!!
great work boys, well done
This was so helpful thank you so much
You can still generate power shots with these counter strikes.
Vincente Luque does this so well. He throws the left hook from the left block and throws the right overhand over the right block.
Awesome tip. Thank you
nice video...thank you for helping me with my game
Amazing slick counters I love it, I naturally like to parry or block and trigger counter, I didn't knew it was a actual technique, I just did them all my life, fighting of bullies in school.. I never been trained but going to join a muay Thai gym by my house..
Do something about the GGG vs canelo rematch and your thoughts
This is the video I needed!!!
Totally gonna try some of those combos in sparring tomorrow
Excellent video
awesome vid man
Great video✊🏽
i like and practice these counters they all work beautiful, the only thing is in sparring when they throw a strait right to the head i block but the counter to throw back seams hard to land, works great on the mitts but harder in sparring. but if they throw the right hand wide like an overhand or a hook or they throw it strait to the body i find it easyier to counter like everything else they throw especially anything they throw with there left.(speaking of same side counters orthodox vs orthodox)
Great vid. I was taught the leg version a long time ago in class (basically, hit the guy before his kicking legs gets back to the ground), but I never saw the hand version. Makes sense.
Can you go over simultaneous counters?
Always good shit
Really good stuff!!
Fightips I watch your videos all the time and for a long time now I love your vids but I also miss your old vids of you speaking over the video like the (dos and don’ts)
Hey Shane, pls do a full video on philly shell. I am having a problem in that.
Thanks for the tip ✊🏿
This is some good shit here 🙌🏽
Interesting video, really similar to a savate seminar I went to this weekend. We did a drill like this but it was moving. I never thought a seminar focused on defensive movement would be so tiring. after 4 hours I wanted to just lie down and not get up.
Neat trick, nice and simple
Great tips
Great tip!
Very useful !
Holy shit, I tried this yesterday at the boxing gym and damn, it was epic. I was fighting a guy that was about 6´1 (I am 5´9), so he had a big reach advantage and classic counters would have been very difficult (I have been training boxing only for about 3 months, so I am not really that skilled yet), but these? I landed soooo many clean counters that I couldn´t believe it. THANKS
Right, thaT left jab. ThAhnk You
Amazing!
Hey Shane, loved ur gloves👍
Any chance you'll be producing shin guards soon?
Good Training Guyz!
Great stuff!!!!!
Think you should fight faze sensei in next youtube boxing match , like if you agree
He would destroy anyone on CZcams what are you on about
Rift he wrote a paragraph on his Instagram saying why he wouldn’t participate in any of these CZcams fighting events
bdpchamp oh well just opinions
Shane has done 17 years of martial arts even tho he is smaller I think he may actually win
Faze sensei has 60 lbs on shane fazen
Thank you.... good stuff
Men, I like this technique! I will put in practice these skills!
SOOOO GOOD!!
The second you see the dude about to swing, a quick palm strike upward. Don't stop. You FINISH HIM!!
I used that in my mma class its simple and super effective
Thanks guys
Righteous. 👍🏾💯
good video thank u
I was just think about this before you posted
I will try this
This is a very cool video, if I'm not mistaken this was something Bruce lee used to talk about all the time. The way of the intercepting fist.
Super i will try it.
That's awesome.
love this.
Nice job! How about counters for straight punches and front kicks?
Nice tip
Very nice
really good
Could you please make a video on is karate effective in the street and if so what form is the best to practice
I like the rhythm
😍👊 never thought about that
I've done this naturally before. Interesting. I have 0 boxing experience. like he said I just saw that he was open and went for it. Very nice!
Good for u!!!!!
Awesome
Hey shane thanks
Just watching the strike straight from the block reminds me of wing Chun (sorry if I spelt that wrong)
Thanks!
Thank you!
Tkx that makes sense
