i went to field camp, which is like a geology summer school and sleep away camp all in one but for adults. can confirm camp is a similar experience for adults

The way Keith’s speech changes over the course of an Eat The Menu is wild. The further in you get the less you understand him and he understands himself.
Sad to see that Eat The Menu will be ending, but Cheesecake Factory with their book-length menu...what a way to go out. Hoping Keith will still do an occasional live Eat with Keith. Those were fun and Keith doesn't have to eat so much that he ends up in a food coma.

As a Canadian, I am so sad that as Eat The Menu comes to an end we never got to see Keith eat all of Tim Horton's. But I am still so happy Eat The Menu ran for as long as it did!
I shall dream of one day maybe him traveling to Canada for something else and doing a little throwback episode for us since it's a pretty small menu. If not I get it though I cannot imagine what eating all that food / caffine/ candy etc. would do to your body. He probably sacrificed way more than is fair physically for this series so I'm not suprised they're ending it

44:09 the mango dragon fruit refresher actually has no mango in it. starbucks is currently being sued for false advertisement over the refreshers. pineapple passionfruit has no passionfurit and strawberry açaí has no açaí. the peach juice doesn’t even have peach in it. they’re all pretty much white grape juice and artificial flavors

Watching this in a fatigued stupor after half-collasping in my bathroom and whilst stumbling through the first half of my skin care routine, finally giving in and laying down on my bed with my hair towel still on is the only true way to watch an eat-the-menu.
I really hope there's a full series version of "the best and the least best." I want to know what the best thing that Keith had over the whole series and more importantly what was the LEAST best of the whole series.

On the chocolate milk discussion, my college has several chocolate milk dispensers in the food hall that are in active use, so yes, the kids still like chocolate milk

Try guys have a real business opportunity there “try guys summer camp” a summer camp for adults who never got to try it as kids! They could literally facilitate so many activities and socials and make it fun and entertaining. It could be the ultimate fan experience - they’ve tried it all, and now want us to try it! Honestly makes more sense than their concert tour (which was fun ngl) but this would be such a cool immersive experience for their brand
I’m glad I now know their green tea drinks all have mint in them, and I think it’s absolutely criminal that they don’t say that in the names. I absolutely *despise* the taste of mint, and I would be *pissed* if I got a drink that had surprise mint in it.

If it's iced green tea probably yes it will. Bagged "Emperor's Clouds and Mist" Tea and the Matcha tea doesn't have mint. Those are just green tea.
When they had the old Tazo teas there was a pure green tea, a green tea with citrus, and a mint herbal tea with GREEN PACKAGING that I had to keep reminding people wasn't actually green tea

As an Australian, we don’t do flat whites iced. We generally only do them hot.
But I think it’s also that we tend to use a lot less sugar is most of our drinks too.
The London fog isn't British either. We don't even really have tea lattes. The only tea latte we have is a chai latte and that's an American import. I think Americans just imagine what food and drinks from other places taste like and then call it that.

In case anyone’s wondering, the refreshers have the most caffeine because they’re made from raw, green coffee beans. Green beans have none of that bitter coffee taste since they’re not roasted. So many parents get them for their kids thinking it’s just juice but yeah, it’s very caffeinated. The lighter the roast, the less in the roasting process the more caffeine is retained.
Wait so do light roast coffees have more caffeine than dark roast?
to my understanding a grande refresher has 45 mg of caffeine which is still significant, but is less than a grande latte. 2 shots of espresso has about 64 mg. At least that's what I was told during my training for starbucks.

@@sillyghost98No, all coffee beans have the same level of caffeine by mass, caffeine is not destroyed or "burnt off" by roasting. It's a myth that continue to be spread.
Darker roast coffee beans are less dense so if it is measured out by volume (scoops) then the resulting brewed coffee uses less coffee mass.

I love how everyone at the table always at least tries whatever sweets Alex brings over, and then they just genuinely review it; I always thought that it's so wholesome, I'm really going to miss that after the last episode. Also, Hughie's highlighter in this video gives me life; is that glitter? Sorry not sorry, but it just looks so good. I'll pray for Keith's poor stomach once he does go to the Cheesecake Factory, though.

For the lattes it’s 2% milk unless otherwise specified 21:40, the fraps and the flat whites get whole.
Also, 23:13 the difference with shaken espressos is they by default get less syrup, an extra shot, and the milk goes on top instead of mixed in.
As for the oleato, it really does not go over well unless you drink it as soon as you get it, coffee is water and water and oil do separate, but consensus with workers is they don’t really like it, it gets equipment all oily.

I’m going to have to disagree with you on fraps getting whole milk. I was a Starbucks barista for many years and it was always 2% from what I recall

I worked at Starbucks when I went to college (second time) and we had a fella come through every day for a pour over and a cinnamon bun.
He was so nice, and we called him "Cinnamon Bun Jim." He got the cinnamon bun because cinnamon is good for your joins! We had his order started when we saw him in the parking lot.
He was so upset when they changed the recipe. Love ya CB Jim!

Not sure why they didn’t explain the differences in the refreshers but there’s three base drinks: the strawberry açaí, mango dragonfruit, and the pineapple passion fruit. They can be made with either water, lemonade or coconut milk. The refreshers made with coconut milk are referred to as “drink” at the end, the pink drink, the dragon drink, and the paradise drink respectively. The frozen versions of the refreshers are made the same way as the ones with lemonade and then blended and poured into a cup with strawberry purée in it.

Fun fact....The British London Fog is not British....it was actually invented in Vancouver, Canada, the tea leaves of the first, which are Earl Grey were bought in London, but the drink itself is Canadian, and a lot of cafes here in Vancouver will change it to the Vancouver Fog as a nod to it.

As someone who works at Starbucks I am PRAYING they went to different starbucks for different drinks. The mental breakdown my coworkers and I would have if someone ordered one of everything all at once while making drinks for other people at the same time
I think they pick it up in batches, since they’re shooting for an entire day

My husband works at starbucks, he brings me a drink at the end of every shift. My absolute fav is the cinnamon caramel cold brew. Our chocolate lab tried to steal it once, he broke the cup and it spilled everywhere. He still gets very clingy to me whenever the husband brings me one. Very excited for the cheescake factory videos. Sad this series is coming to an end, it was a very fun ride and it helped me loads (I search up menues of EVERY resturant I go to bc ASD). Can't wait to see what you get up to next!
