As a former batista. These remind me of the notorious secret menu drinks people would try to order but we would have no idea how to make them since they were fan made. It just makes these beverages too confusing and difficult.

One time for spring, I’m sure they did like… a limited edition strawberry matcha frappe? It was basically just the strawberry creme frappe but they put matcha syrup stripes on the cup and sprinkled matcha on top of the whipped cream. It was pretty good but I didn’t get the big deal.
in my kiosk, we call that drink Shrek juice :)

I am actually a barista at Starbucks and the hardest part is getting the dome lid onto the frappes. Takes skill and patience

They dont need to memorize the recipe. If its something obscure you can just tell them how to do it

Former sbux barista here: a consistent issue I've noticed in these Starbucks episodes is the fresh-ness of the drinks. Once a cold drink like a frap sits for a while it starts to come apart and you can't see any of the layers anymore and it usually doesn't taste as good or it gets water-y instead of like a thick milkshake. However, it would be really inconvenient for you guys to have to go get fresh drinks throughout filming.
They could stagger it and just doordash it or something. Also, they could just go get it with a cooler or put it in a thermos and put it back in the cup when they get back.
i was just coming here to say this! it’s so watered down so i think that definitely cost them points with the last drink.

This is the only dragon fruit frapp ive ever seen while working at Starbucks Here’s the recipe (for a grande):
Coconut milk to the first line
Mango refresher to the second line
2 scoops of dragon fruit
Crème base
Double blended
Top with whipped cream
i think they did it weird because you cant get the concentrates or frappe base in stores
I used to do a version with heavy cream to the bottom ridge, mango base to the bottom line, then like 4 scoops of dragon fruit. It was my Thursday drink lol.
That’s too much liquid it has to be together on the first line at most.
