    Questions:
    1) what nutrients do you use for propagation? Is that different than the nft system nutrients? And if they are same, are they in same concerntration?
    2) how frequently do you top the propagation and main reservoir. How does the math work for the topping the nutrients in terms of keeping ideal concentration and the volume in the tank? How frequently do you competely change the water?
    3) In an event of power cut, how long before the plant roots start to dry? In other word, how much time do you have for starting pumps on generator without loosing any plants to drying?
    4) when is the ideal time to clean main reservoir? And what is minimum size of the tank and volume of nutrients do you need for system such as yours? Do you use any cleaning agent to clean the troughs and tank?
Pheww.. thats it for now. See you next week!!!

I'm starting my lettuce seeds very similar to your process. Seeds in water soaked rockwool on a heating pad. So just to clarify, after you start to see the first formation of leaves you remove them and put them under light but do not feed any fertilized water until they move to the next racks? Or are they sitting in a light mix of water/fert in the second set of trays under the light? About how long do you keep them in that second stage inder the lights before moving to the grow out stage with full fert?
