Yaargh. Landmarks are an underutilized mechanic of the game. It doesn't help the only 2 are fabled. I like to think of landmarks like the stage cards from one piece, another pirate game. Similar to enchantments, they enter the field and give some kind of bonus. Pirates could easily make use of that given they travel to many ports and countries. Not sure how more than one landmark would make sense thematically though. There might have to be a rule like "you may only have one landmark at a time " similar to yugioh field spells.
