the food is so so good! our favorite thing to do in Lisbon is to just sit, eat and drink in a cozy spot... live the good life 🍷🍺
Chamusas are Arab/Moorish and were introduced into India by the Portuguese (Mozambique to India, not the other way around).
The Portuguese were the first to introduce chillies in Asia, Africa, and Europe (strong impact on Asian cuisine)
Bifanas (pork sandwich) & Prego no pão (beef sandwich) are a quick bites to eat on the go.
Have a beer, eat a bifana
Have a coffee, eat a pastel de nata

OMG the food in Lisbon is to die for!!! The place is called 'Tentaçao' - it's right in the historic center, close to a big square (can't remember the name, maybe Figueira or similar?)... enjoy eating your way around this amazing city!! 🥰

How much cash should someone carry in Portugal?

Hi Julio, thanks :) It depends on your budget and where in Portugal you're traveling to. We always tried to carry 100 EUROS cash. In the big cities most places will accept credit card, and if they don't, there's a sign that says 'nao tenemos multibanco'. Hope this helps - have fun in Portugal!
