This is the best love song ever. Not a lot of love songs out there celebrating a post-honeymoon phase, long term relationship and actually growing old together.
when I saw this on the west end they corpsed so badly they had to stop the whole number and wait unil they caught control of themselves before restarting the music. It was hilarious
i saw michael ball in 2009 and i got to meet him after the show and i nearly passed out because he gave me a kiss on the cheek :D he was my first crush as a kid because my mum played his cd's and had a video of him. when i saw this it went on for 20 mins no joking and michael said on stage he peed a little lol such a good time and i am so happy i met michael ball, still handsome :D
How appropriate that a 60s icon is in the show. I bet there were screams and applause for him when he made his first entrance (and if this wasn't a formal theatrical setting, I'm sure panties would be flying).
omg I couldn't stop laughing especially when Mickey lost it at the end. I've never seen Hairspray but now I want to, especially if Mickey's in it. It's kind of scary when a former Monkee is playing an old geezer. I now know why he always wears a black fedora.
As much as I loved Harvey Fierstein and Dick Latessa for their portrayals of Edna and Wilbur (and they certainly deserved their Tony Awards), I think this is my favorite "couple" in the roles. Michael Ball has a voice that sounds a bit feminine with the right inflections and he sells it perfectly - just over the top enough to remain believable - while Mickey Dolenz reminds me of several dad's I knew from the 60's. They actually interact like a believable married couple and their ad-libs are times perfectly. Priceless performance - - "kiss me again!!"

This was the best Edna and Wilbur performance I've ever sense

You can tell they are having a blast doing this

Michael Ball and Mickey Dolenz are first class! Their singing is great and their relationship is sweet as can be. So terrific to see them.
This clip is just so surreal. Two of my favorite all time singers performing in the most outrageous way and being as brilliant as they've ever been.

Michael is by far the best Edna I’ve ever seen and heard! He’s phenomenal!
Michael Ball is a phenomenal performer. He throws himself into every character he portrays. Micky was wonderful too <3
Michael's "Oh yes you CAN" cracks me up every time. Every time.
There was really chemistry between them both, wasn´t it? I love that and them, they´re simply brilliant. Michael Ball is beyond compare, wow, wow.
Instant Prozac. Can't stop watching. Micky is adorable. :)
that whole "its jewish! for kiss me again" thing is ... hella adorable and i cry every time
The best Edna and Wilbur duo. I wish they portrayed the roles in the Hollywood Bowl
"I can feel the bells" LOL!

Love michael's American accent! Love him!!!!
Michael Ball and Mickey Dolenz!?! WHAT!?! How did I never hear about this before? I may never be right again.
