I introduced my son to rock soul and blues. He loved it. Started learning and still playing. He started out with the rap thing , I couldnt take it anymore so I started showing him what real music sounds like. Loves it now and can’t get enough. I couldn’t beat him growing up listening to such nonsense.
He has made me proud, he’s always eager to learn. Loves the classics soul and blues. Proud and thankful mom here.

OMG! Been listening to this "kid" since he was 15. Saw him play a bar in Dayton, Ohio. In-fucking-credible! Noah Hunt compliments his blues style with greatness. I'm 66 and still listening and looking for more KWS. This is blues like I love it! Hey! I see Chris Layton on drums....that makes me smile big time.....
I saw KWS with double trouble at a recording session in n.carolina- there was an impromptu little jam at a picnic table and i had asked chris if he minded if i took a few pics- he said sure..someone from the sony bus picked up my camera 'by accident' so, no pics still tics me off...
Those keys were pretty sweet too.

KWS has come a very long way since Blue On Black! Kenny is so fast on his guitar and Noah is Mr. Blues himself! Chris Layton on drums from Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble! Great music here from the man from Shreveport, Louisiana indeed!

Just saw Kenny Wayne Shepherd and the band a few nights ago in Atlanta. I must have been living under a rock not to have seen this band before. Kenny Wayne is on another level and Noah Hunt is a fabulous singer and frontman, plus the entire band is excellent. It was a great concert.

5/28/2022 Saw Kenny Wayne Shepherd tonight in Marksville,La. by far the best concert he has done before. Blues like no other than maybe Stevie Ray Vaughan. THAT GREAT 👍

I truly appreciate y'all posting this. I first became familiar with Kenny in 1983 or 84 when he played with Bryan Lee † at the Old Absinthe House on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Louisiana was my 'home' for some twenty years and during that time I've seen and heard some really great bands not only in New Orleans but all around the state. But when I seen Kenny, I knew unequivocally I was watching someone special. But make no mistake, Bryan Lee was a gifted and talented blues musician in his own right and he was equally impressed with Kenny. The addition of Noah on rhythm guitar and lead vocals whose vocal range is Mesmerizing and Soul-stirring has, in my humble opinion, taken the KWS Band to a whole new Dynamic and Captivating level. Thank you for posting and I wish y'all continued success for years to come. Be safe 🙏

I'd never listened to the blues until my Momma Deanna introduced me to it years ago. I love it now. You and Jonny Lang are my absolute favorites. And I've introduced blues to my children and look forward to doing the same with my grandbabies ☺️

I saw KWS open for the Van Halen/Cherone experiment at Riverport in St. Louis waaaay back in the day. The KWS Band was amazing. Kenny was incredible. The solo in this song. Dayum.

Great band. Check this out. I saw these guys this past summer. What made it really cool was I took my cousin to the show. At 75 she had never seen a concert in her life. So she got to see KWS and Buddy Guy that night. Then a week later my wife and I took her to red rocks to see Joe Bonnamassa. It was rainy and cold but she told me she didn’t want to leave😮 She was hooked on the blues. She still talks about it. We are so glad we could do that for her.

I've never commented on anything before, but about a year or so ago a name came up saying that other people who listened to this also listen to this, k w s name came up, I had never heard of him, but because my name is Wayne, I clicked on it and heard blue on black other selections while working in my shop with headphones on, it was an instant connection, even though I'm 68 and stuck in the 60's and 70's, and wasn't into that type of music. I'm still stuck in the 60's and 70's I've invited Kenny in to my world

Saw this tour in A.C. July 2019. One of the best concerts I've seen. He is a great guitar player
KWS is absolutely amazing. I was lucky enough to see him when first started touring and it was jaw dropping to watch a teenager who could play so well, and see him channeling SRV in this tune.
I've seen KWS many times. Gives 1000% every time...incredible show from the second he takes the stage....and Noah puts the soulful touch on everything he sings

KWS and the band simply killed it. Wow. If you get the chance to see them live, don't hesitate .....go! My wife and I have seen them three times and she treated me for my Bday to an autographed guitar and VIP front row seats a few years ago.
