This was the only commercial hit by 4 NON BLONDES but the lead singer Linda Perry has gone on to write and produce many great songs for other artists. She wrote BEAUTIFUL by Christina Aguilera ( which you should respond to). She's written and worked with the likes of Dolly Parton, Pink, Miley Cyrus, Gwen Stefani, and many others.
Couldn't have said it better 👍
That's why I LOVE this channel - I love the backstory. Thanks ! ❤🎵
Yes Christina A. Has an absolute power house of a voice! She should definitely be on the list for female Friday
@@tonyathomas1533 and Pink - I love her as well !
To be fair the reason why it was their only hit was because they only released one album
Dusty Springfield - Son Of A Preacher Man ....future female Friday please....
Joss Stone's version is fire also~
Or Annie Lennox singing it.
Lesley Gore - You Don’t Own Me
Aretha’s version
Dusty Springfield - "I Don't Want to Hear it Anymore" and "The Look of Love"
It’s a damn shame that Linda Perry didn’t sing more in her career - her ‘balls out’ vocal style is beautiful
damn straight
The solo album she did right after this was unreal
Try her performance of "Beautiful". Linda wrote it, Christina made it famous.
@@josephigillis She has 2 solo albums 1st "In Flight" is dark and 2nd "After Hours" is more upbeat. She also did a thing called Deep Dark Robot where she explores her gayness.
I always thought of her as a Female Steven Tyler!
One of the greatest vocal performances in music history. There's zero confusion as to what's going on... it's Four Non-Blondes, and NO ONE else.
Totally agree with you. What a range she has.
The Breeders "Cannonball" always reminds me of "What's Up," if you're interested in something from the same era.
Luscious Jackson❤
Yes, i love the old Mtv.
Funny, I was thinking they should react to The Breeders while I was watching this. The Deal sisters are for real...
Aw yeah, Kim Deal from the Pixies!
Yes!
"She" is Linda Perry...singer, songwriter, producer & just general legend of the music industry!
She wrote most if not all of Pink's "Mizunderstood" album!!!
@@patrickjudd7001 and "beautiful" by Christina Aguilera
I know Linda Perry as a name. but I didn't know it was her.
Well said!!!!!!
She is also married to Darlene from Roseanne and The conners..
My brother died in 1993 as I was driving home from his funeral and this song came on. I pulled over and cried like a baby. It was years before I could listen to this song again.
SO Sorry for your loss
🫂
I'm crying now with you omg!!
This song was a total ANTHEM in the 90’s. I remember jamming in my car with the windows down and this song full blast on the radio. BTW she was married to Sara Gilbert from the Conners for a few years. So sad they broke up.
Saw them in concert in 93' they were superb!!
It's the anthem to life, period, regardless what decade you're in.
You are my very favorite reaction team!!! I have totally quit watching other reactors ❤
We had a lot of fun.
@Andie Dufresne , yes, a few years ago. It made me sad. I hate breakups, where abuse isn't involved.
The band : The Cranberries, the song: Zombie. this is definitely a must for a female Friday!
*Linger*
I suggest their song "Linger" and/or "Dreams."
Oh hell yes! The Cranberries, Zombie. RIP Dolores O'Riordan. A must for female Friday!!
The live video of “Zombie” is a must see!!
There will only ever be one Delores!!! RIP
They did cranberries zombie and guessing CZcams took it down video not their anymore
The bass player Christa Hillhouse and i were buddies in the 90''s. She was like my big sister. We from San Francisco. (everyone had dreadlock in the 90's in SF, lol, like for real)
That's awesome 👌
Running a business?????? I thought they were Communists,,,,🤪🤪🤪🤣🤣🤣👎
@@LordEagle What? No. They're not and never have been communists. They're lesbians who ran a business (the band) together. After 4NB broke up, she *wisely* took her earnings from her platinum selling record and international tour, bought a big house in Texas where she could ride horses and motorcycles and run a business as a non-famous regular person. Decades of the rock star lifestyle isn't for everyone. It was for Linda but not Christa. You do know that Linda Perry is pretty fucking rich, right? You may not realize how much stuff Linda's name is on. You should look her up on Wikipedia.
@@GradyBroyles did you know Debra aka "Mean Mommy" who used to be hang with the drummer afaik?
Linda Perry´s voice always reminded me from Heart´s Ann Wilson. She was so underrated, such a great performer
Linda Perry is switching very smoothly between chest and head voice. Keeping her jaw dropped for beautiful vowels and LOTS of good air control to support everything. The breaks, frays, the the knowledge where to add grit gives her voice a very unique style.
I concur with you 100%.
I feel 8/10 singer’s are so worried about their facial expressions that causes not to reach their full potential of their given talent. Singers like Linda Perry and Sinaed O’Conner and few others don’t care how they look when they’re adding their own corky, amazing unique sounds that’s not heard to often from most artists.
Guys, speaking range on female voices, please react to Alone by Heart. You will like it!
@@jesussandoval0527
Not like it
But will Truly Love It
I believe she had classical voice training. You can’t worry about your facial expressions if you really want to sing. It out!
@@rosieazatyan5923 Thanks for that singing insight. 👍🏻. Her exaggerated expressions were throwing me off.
A Female Friday choice I would recommend is Zombie by The Cranberries. A deep song with a lot of meaning and killer vocals.
100% one of the most important songs because of the association with the GFA (Good Friday Agreement)
They did it. YT took it down.
Now check out Concrete Blonde with a song called Joey.If you want to talk about voices, you'll want to hear this one
I LOVE that song so much! I named my dog Joey ❤️😂
👍
OMG yes. Joey is one of the most memorable and gut-wrenching songs of the 90s. A must listen.
yes! and Heal It Up, to show off her voice! or Mexican Moon, so many great songs!! best voice. Great bass player.
@@user-or1ye3iz6d That's awesome.Being a huge Pink Floyd fan,I named my dogs Gilmour and Vera Lynn
As a 70 year old rocker, I LOVE this group's sound,,,and Linda Perry has my vote for singer of her generation no doubt
She can turn it on at will: whether it be high notes, gritty notes, or just musically talking. Amazing singer. This is a classic.
A little info on the lead singer, 4 non blondes, Linda Perry....she has a huge long non ending list of writing songs for many, many big artists, your Adele for one....look her up, a list that will surprise you.....I love love this song for many years....thank you for reacting to a great song..
also xtina aguilera, pink etc. :)
She’s married to Sara Gilbert, the actress who was in the show Roseann and now does some tv producing
So so many.
@@unndunn1 was, I read somewhere they split up
@@maddie48 that could be, I’m not up to date on that kind of news 😂
Please do Melissa Etheridge - I’m the Only One
Massively underrated, absolute powerhouse of a vocalist.
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!
Or come to my window. I love that one too.
Anything by Melissa Etheridge is good. My fav is "Bring me some water". I did that at karaoke one time and someone brought a glass of water and set it on the stage...LOL
Melissa is in concert tonight on CMT, I seen her in concert a couple of years ago at RiversideCasinoin RiversideIowa, she's awesome
Best Live
This song was the voice of younger Gen-X & Xennials. It totally captures that feeling of disillusionment when you can’t deal with the cognitive dissonance anymore. This song is an ANTHEM.
Not to mention, Linda Perry herself was the personification of “nah, I’m gonna do this my own way.” She remains influential to this day.
The 90s was a refreshing time for women because we were shaking off the Pollyanna arm candy role of previous generations. Alanis Morissette allowed anger in You Oughta Know. No Doubt showed frustration with Just A Girl. And 4 Non Blondes raged with What’s Up. Of course, Janis started this vibe in the 60s, so credit to her. Subsequent generations just carry the torch.
The techno version of this song was the bomb!!! loved it soo much when they played it in the clubs such great times back than
I can't stop repeatedly listening to this song. One of the best songs I've ever heard!
The cranberries zombie, Dolores o'riordan had a unique voice
You are so right on.
Another vote for Zombie!
My favorite of her songs is "God Be With You (Ireland)" fro the movie, "The Devil's Own".
Have they done it already?
Zombie gets my vote too. I also like Promises, Linger, Dreams, Salvation, When you're Gone, Star, Odd to my Family and You and Me. Dolores was the GOAT, bar none.
Dig into some Natalie Merchant "carnival" or her with 10,000 maniacs "because the night".
Or Like Candy....
I was going to suggest “Carnival” as well.
10,000 Maniacs: Eat for Two
Great minds!
@@pattyestrada6 With Jen Turner on guitar!
Absolute powerhouse vocals
I remember when 4 Non Blondes hit the music circuit. This song was absolutely electric. Linda Perry has such a unique voice and unique vocal range, that as far as I know, no one else anywhere can match it. The changes and amplification in her voice is just chilling. An all girl band, well mostly, and their sound and rhythm match perfectly. Define toy one of my favorites, even still today.
Another good one for Female Friday is "Black Velvet" by Alannah Myles.
Kim Carnes ...Betty Davis Eyes
Cyndi Lauper....True Colors and Time After Time
I was blessed to grow up in this era. Rock peaked in the 90s.
I dont agree with peaked in 90sto it was 80s when it dominated even rappers mixed in rock but great rock did faded after 90s for sure
@@salvador754 80s was definitely more varied... New wave, hair and heavy metal, regular rock, pop, rap rock beginning, etc. But for me the alternative rock of the 90s was the best... It brought together all the freaks and outcasts who didn't have a home. I remember my freshman year of high school i sat with all the preps and jocks i grew up with but hated it. First day of sophomore year I went to the "freaks" table at lunch... The longhairs/rockers/art nerds, etc and timidly asked if I could sit... I was coming from the popular table but was wearing an indie rock band shirt of some kind. They welcomed me without question and I had found my group.
@@BobbyGeneric145 JP ever say their time my argument this in in L@ Michael Jackson have concertr,I Guns and Roses,Metallica, fly upstate cause Duran Duran George Michael every genre I n their prime thendont get wrong I kept going the Seattle sound Nirvana etc in the 90s not bad at all
@chetsenior7253 I was in military went to 6 hrs awayCanada to hear u heard of Midnight Oil great concert
@chetsenior7253 throw some band names to check it out
An ABSOLUTE timeless song. It fits perfectly to WHATS GOING ON today!! I pray for it every night.
80s: Scandal "Goodbye to You", 10,000 Maniacs "Trouble Me"
90s: Alannah Myles "Black Velvet", The Cardigans "Lovefool"
00s: P!nk "Get The Party Started", Nina Gordon "Tonight and the Rest of My Life"
ooo yeah, they'd really love Black Velvet!
Ooh, and P!nk’s “So what “ and “Beautiful Trauma”.
Wow, so many more fantastic 10,000 maniacs songs too!!! lol
P!nk - God is a DJ
Please check out Chrissie Hynde, lead singer of the Pretenders. Brass in Pocket is my favorite song but they have many great ones. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll stand by you, middle of the road, back on the chain gang……you won’t be disappointed with any of them.
Tattoed love boys
What about "My City was Gone"?
Every song on their first album... and then all the others.
Also excellent on Back on the Chain Gang, Thin Line Between Love and Hate, Human, and Baby's Breath.
Def a favorite
Not heard this song for so long! Goosebumps, what a song!
She is one of the few singers that bring tears to my eyes when she sings, her voice is so unique
For Female Friday:
"Ode to Billie Joe" by Bobbie Gentry
“Tell Mama” by Etta James
Lita Ford and Ozzy ~ "If I Close My Eyes Forever"
Stevie Nicks and Don Henley (Eagles) ~ "Leather and Lace"
Kenny Rogers and Dolly Pardon ~ "Islands In The Stream"
The Diviynls " Pleasure and Pain", "I touch Myself". "Boy's in Town"
The lyrics are legendary. I mean really "what's going on" especially now like wtf
This song had been criticized for being "manufactured"- like the lyrics were made to appeal to the most people- but I've always loved it- I've sung this! :) And who doesn't want their tune to appeal to people? :P
Cranberries "Zombie" & Meredith Brooks "B.I.T.C.H" would be great songs for Female Friday.
I haven't heard Meredith Brooks' "Bitch" in forever! Thanks for the reminder; I LOVE that song! Also, Zombie is a definite must to react to, as well! Great suggestions Marina & have a fantastic weekend!
Bitch is a great choice.
Lmao yes I was thinking those songs too
Don't forget Alanis Morissette "you outta know"
Oh wow...remember her...Meredith Brooks...😎😎😎
Check out The Cranberries song Zombie, it’s about the Irish Troubles. They were an Irish band, lead singer was Dolores O’Riordan who passed away a few years ago.
Agreed. None of the covers I've heard have come close to comparing to the original. Dolores was such an original and the emotion of that song just hits you like a train!
RIP Dolores, the finest Irish singer
Linda Perry is such a unique vocalist and songwriter as well as a producer, having worked with incredible artists like Pink. She's one of a kind for sure.
Linda Perry was not just known for 4 Non-Blondes. She also wrote Pink's first hit "Get This Party Started", not to mention several other hits.
It's time for Linda Ronstadt, "Blue Bayou" is a good start. She is amazing.
Good call! Then the Dolly/ Linda / Emmylou trio!
I agree. I like singing karaoke to her songs
You should check out Melissa Etheredge for Female Fridays. Come to my Window or I'm The Only One are great. She also did a great cover if Piece of My Heart by Janis Joplin at the Grammys some years back
I’m 11 years old when this dropped. I loved this album! 31 years later and it’s still giving me goosebumps!
One of the most memorable vocal performances in music history. Stunning.
Don’t forget Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac singing “Rhiannon” live at the Midnite Special 1977. She goes off the chain
One of the greatest rock performances ever caught on video!
This is what I was going to suggest, Stevie gives everything she has to that performance!
Apparently it's the 1976 Midnite Special :D Thanks however.
YES
This!
Fade in to You - Mazzy Star
Across the Universe - Fiona Apple (Beatles cover)
I'll Stand By You - The Pretenders
Because the Night - Patti Smith
Great list you could add K's choice " not an addict " to the list also.
The lead singer, Linda Perry, composed & produced the awesome, uplifting hit ballad song “Beautiful” by Christina Aguilera! If you haven’t reacted to the music video version of Beautiful by Christina Aguilera you absolutely should!! 💗
Linda Perry showed up to a party we had in the redwoods at a communal house called the barn. She has a Mohawk at the time.
Nobody recognized her. The. She sat down and Played the guitar and sang this song And we Were All… wow that sounds alot like the original… she said yea i wrote it….. just another one of my Forrest dump moments….
I second the vote for the Cranberries’ Zombie. Such a meaningful song and her voice was amazing, may she RIP
I cried the day Dolores died. One of the best female vocals of all time.
Yes!
Oh hell yeah I'm not even but I will be in 10 seconds
I didn't know she was dead
@@ddchill7763 sadly she died 2018 such a shame especially for her kids
Let’s have a taste of The Cranberries with their heart rendering song “Zombie”. Dolores O’Riordan , RIP will reach deep down into your soul. Nothing too soft about this gem of a song.
I'd prefer Dreams, but either would make for a good reaction.
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 😭😭😭💔 I own every CD. This was my eldest daughter's first concert and it was epic. Bury The Hatchet tour and they did every song you ever loved. RIP Dolores 🙏🏻💔😢😢😢
Yeeees! CRANBERRIES! Don’t wait for Friday.
Any song off of No Need To Argue is worth a listen to IMO.
I CONCUR
Hope she received some kind of award for this song . Everything about it is awesome. Her voice, the music and the song's meaning.
Ever since being released in the early '90s, this song became a ballad for the '90s. You would always hear it on the radio, hear it at parties, and never became worn out from being played so much. This is one of those songs that cannot be overplayed. This definitely brings back memories from my teenage years.
You need to hear Dolores O'Riordan from the Cranberries. Such a unique voice.
Linger ...
Ode to My Family
Ok, let's be honest here. There are many different reaction channels these days, music, movies and tv shows...some channels are very good and some not so good. I've watched a few of your reactions now and you make me smile, every time. You're my favorite reaction channel, love you both!
A great channel for pooping. I’ve taken many wicked shits watching these videos.

Linda Perry is a voice athlete!
Never really understood why they did not have other hits. This song was big…her voice is so unique…great band too.
Linda Perry the singer is extremely accomplished..... she’s composed and produced songs for Christine Aguilera, Pink, Gwen Stefani .... she’s in the song writers Hall of Fame. I believe her role in the music industry has been more behind the scenes which I’m sad cause her vocals are great!
I agree. She's obviously an amazing music writer and producer, but what a waste that we don't get to hear her fantastic voice.
There is a fun live duet of P!nk and Linda Perry doing What's Up.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Linda Perry is Sarah Gilberts significant other?
@@Scottracine68 not anymore. They recently split up
The Bangles - Hazy Shade of Winter and as others have already said Cranberries - Zombie and definitely more Beasties!
bangle swalk like an egytian too
I like the Bangles, but if you're gonna do "Hazy Shade of Winter", I'd recomment the original Simon & Garfunkel first.
@@wagstaff6135 Well I thinking it for Female Fridays but agree that both versions are great.
@@LauPulstar Another great choice too. Nothing better than fun 80's music to make you forget about the issues of today.
@@jasonbrosseau1056 Totally great for female Fridays... I agree. And I am not laying down the law at all, I just thought the original should be known first. Also because it's a slightly more aggressive side of Simon & Garfunkel, which Jordan asked about! But yeah, on a different day.
I think this is one of the greatest songs of all time. The message. The vocal. The power. Awesome.
Linda Perry, one of the best female voices in rock music.
For unique singing voice, try Macy Grey "I Try"
Try some Alanis Morrisette for a female Friday, anything off of the Jagged Little Pill album
Yes! Love this girl. :)
I absolutely PERFORM this song every time I hear it - especially in the shower! 😎😎😎💜
Linda could absolutely wail.
The Gogo's- We got the beat
The Bangles Manic Monday
Singers from the 50s, 60s like The The Supremes
The Ronettes.- Be my Baby
Leslie Gore You don't own me
Lulu- Shout
Brenda Lee- I'm Sorry or Sweet nothings
Jackie De Shannon- When you walk into the room
Early Madonna- Crazy for you
Cindy Lauper- All thu the night
Linda Ronstadt- Long long time
The Carpenters- Close to you
The Cranberies- Dreams
Laura Branigan- Self control
The lead singers name is Linda Perry. Unfortunately I believe 4 non blondes was a one hit wonder, but Linda Perry has written songs for many other artists including Pink (Get the Party Started) and Christina Aguilera (Beautiful).
She wrote a song for Adele too - it's on Adele 25.
They had a couple of hits. But Linda broke up the band to go solo after only 1 record. :(
I’ve heard pink remake this song WOW
i had the bigger better faster more album and i said from day one why is whats up the only hit on this album? theres some really really good songs on there. dear mr president, pleasantly blue, train, spaceman and drifting are all really good
She also wrote a song for Alicia Keys and Courtney love and was inducted into the songwriters HOF but still its a shame because her voice is amazing
Another iconic voice and only one hit. Great song, great voice.
Yes, a REAL voice.... No auto tune.
Oh, so female artists... Okay, in no particular order, Fiona Apple (my personal theme song is by her--Extraordinary Machine), Melissa Etheridge (Bring Me Some Water, though there are pretty much no loser songs of hers on her first 3 or 4 albums), Sarah McLachlan (Possession), Tori Amos (Silent All These Years was her first big hit, though, again, there are so many great tunes of hers to choose from), Cranberries (so many people do "Zombie" by them, but I would direct you to something else, like Linger... Zombie, IMO, is one of their worst songs), Mazzy Star (Fade Into You), Jewel (Who Will Save Your Soul), Sheryl Crow (All I Wanna Do), Natalie Imbruglia (Torn), Lisa Loeb (Stay), and honestly, I could go on for a little while, but that oughta get you started.
1000%
You want something REALLY different, try Wuthering Heights by Kate Bush!
Yes!!! I absolutely love that song and the movie lol
I get chills every time I hear this song and today is no exception. When this came out it was a different time and people in most circles did not take these ladies seriously.
The first time I heard this track it blew me away and still does every time I hear it 👍❤️🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸
Dolores O'Riordan of the Cranberries singing Zombie is beyond phenomenal. It will make you a fan for life. I promise. The CZcams video has over 1 billion views.
Any Cranberries hit would be great for female Friday.
YES!!! Zombie!!
Everyone reacts to Zombie, though. I mean it's great, but there's SO much good Cranberries, don't you think?
@@GradyBroyles absolutely. CZcams has the entire 1999 live in Paris concert. Some of my favorites include You and Me, Salvation, Odd to my Family, Linger, Dreams, When You're Gone, Star, and Promises.
RIP Dolores 😟
"Celebrity Skin" by Hole (Courtney Loves band), "#1 Crush" by Garbage, "I Miss the Misery" by Halestorm and "Take Me Down" by The Pretty Reckless.
All female fronted bands.
Peace!
Linda Perry (I think that's the singer's name) does have a fantastic voice. It's unique in that she does things nobody else seems to do. And she can put that grit in there and just wail. She really is a great vocalist from the 90s.
I was born 90,s music
Linda Perry is phenomenal! This band opened for Aerosmith. They were awesome live!
Listen to Linda Ronstadt, the first female superstar in the 70s. Kind of forgotten despite all her hours and success.
Try Sinead O’Conner’s version of Nothing Compares 2 U. There will be tears flowing.
Such an emotional song, sung so well. ♥
Totally agree about her incredible vocal performance in this. Total masterpiece. The only songs I can ever compare it with in my head are "Stay" by Shakespeare's Sister or some of the performances by Annie Lennox
“Heaven is a Place on Earth” by Belinda Carlisle for female fridays would be great i think. Happy Female Friday!!!!
Yes - was a huge fan when she was with the Go-Go's as well !
Yes!!
You would love Joni Mitchell. SHe has the voice of an angel and incredible range.
Linda Perry has such an amazing voice and this song is just absolutely legendary! A 1990s anthem if there ever was one!
lead singer just killed it what a voice on her... once again thank you the leading me to a band that I would never have known existed unless you guys brought it to our attention killer lead singer killer band Killer song I need more of them immediately how was this band not a huge hit
Sinead O'Connor has a unique voice and a variety of genres behind her. I love Troy. Prince wrote her biggest hit Nothing Compares To You. Anything from her first album The Lion and the Cobra is great.
Troy live at the Pinkpop Festival is AMAZING!
It’s hard to find online, but Sinead did a cover of Elton John’s song “Sacrifice.” It was on a tribute album to Elton. It will give you chills.
Sinead O'Connor is a perfect reaction for female Friday. Nothing Compares to You is one of my favorites. I remember seeing her perform in the late 80's. Bald head and all, she was beautiful!
Great female rockers- Joan Jett, Pat Benetar, Ann Wilson, Stevie Nicks, Annie Lennox
Loved it then. Love it now.
It’s crazy for me, aged 64 to realise that I have a huge library of 30’s 40’s 50’s 60’s 70’s 80’s 90’s and 00’s music that has be missed by so many.
Thoroughly enjoying the reactions here.
I love much of current music too.
If music be the food of love, play on.
Sending love to everyone from Scotland 🏴
I love this song! It’s really applies to life today as well! Linda Perry is the lead singer and I agree, her voice is amazing!❤❤
Some ‘Alabama Shakes’ would be fantastic for female Friday’s. Brittany Howard, especially live, is awesome. Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, live, is right there too.
This whole album is solid. Keep digging. ALSO; Hole - "Violet"
Yep, they gonna need to take a deep breath to explore Hole, but it's a must.
Great song!
Love watching J throw his hand up when feelin this song cause Linda Perry's voice definitely takes ya soul to church
This is one of the best one hit wonders ever written in my humble opinion. Hits hard.
I knew you'd like the song and her voice but, guys, you gotta check out Delores voice and the song Zombies by the Cranberries....it is so powerful!
"Moulin Rouge" by 4 great female singers (Lil' Kim, Christina Aguilera, Pink, and Mya).
This one is in my all time top 5 songs. Just fantastic!
Linda's voice.... 😮 Ohhhh my tennage years memories....
Until this year when Beyoncé won her 28th Grammy the woman who had the lead with 27 Grammy wins and 42 nominations was a woman named Alison Krauss( like house but with kr) she has been labeled bluegrass/ country. I label her as a voice of an angel. One of my favorites is actually a cover she does called when you say nothing at all. Anyone who has not heard her do yourself a solid and listen.
She did a lot of the songs on the soundtrack for "O Brother, Where Art Thou." Beautiful voice.
I agree. There's just no other way to describe her voice. I had the good fortune to see her perform at a Les Paul tribute concert about 15 years ago. Stunning!
Luscious Jackson "Naked Eye" is another great song for female friday
💯🔥 J would flip his shit!🤣
Awesome band and song! 🔥
And Kate Schellenbach the drummer is a founding member of the Beastie Boys. Luscious Jackson is produced and was the first band signed to the Beastie Boys label Grand Royale.
One of THE greatest tunes EVER!!!
I was 17 when this came out and it was EVERYWHERE! One of best summer's of my life.
Radio head, tori amos, nirvana, soul asylum.....one of the best times in music history since maybe 60s?
