@ellaschannel777 she probably will. But positive association and rewards for healthy behavior is part of how treatment works. So ill reserve all criticisms for when she's not making an effort even if the motivations aren't what we would consider "good"
When I recovered it didn't start out with the best motivations. But over time my mindset changed. This is a step in the right direction is all I'm saying.
As a former anorexic, even tasting shit is hard after starving for so long. She will have tummy upset - there is no avoiding it - so she literally has to take it easy.

If anyone thinks that such a severe ED can be resolved by simply taking some bites of food they are mistaken. She is trying to do what gets views and attention and in turn -money. I hope she can get to the point where she seeks out some inpatient long term care. I watched a drug addict slowly K$LL himself online for years all the while proclaiming that he didn’t do drugs. Social media is a carefully curated and false look at someone’s life. It’s not real for the most part.

She didn’t even swallow the food, and probably just ate the lettuce. In her state she can’t even eat solid food and on IVs, until she acknowledges she has an ed and actually gets treatment from a doctor, she’s never getting better. This was all an act and it looked like an act, she looked disgusted by the food. She should have been a politician because she knows exactly what to do to fool people.

As someone who is also anorexic, I would like to point out a couple of things here. While it's good that she's eating on camera, it doesn't mean she's doing better. Doing better would be things like talking about how difficult eating is for her. For example, she could say "I am really struggling with eating today." or "eating disorders are really serious illnesses." This would let her followers know that she's serious about trying to do better. We can't expect her to eat perfectly or finish every bite of food on her plate. Eating disorders don't just get cured by eating a full meal. She likely heavily restricted after eating it or had anxiety about it. Recovery isn't a straight line and there are ups and downs. Some days, you will eat more. Other days, you will really struggle with it. I think she's uploading the eating video to get her account unrestricted. Recovering from anorexia is hard work. If she was serious about trying to do better, she would post more content that really discusses what it is like to be anorexic. Without glorifying it. Talking about the medical complications it causes. She's aware that lots of people in her audience are anorexic and struggling with it. Her videos can be harmful and triggering to these people and the thing is, she's aware of that. So while it's good she's eating on camera, I have a hard time taking her seriously because she still continues to ignore the problem and act like anorexia is glamorous. If you are going to be online and severely ill, you owe it to people to talk about it. And to anyone struggling with anorexia, I hope Eugenia doesn't trigger you and know that you are more than a number on a scale.
I agree with you one hundred percent, and I have said similar things in the past. I can't take anything she says seriously because she doesn't ever acknowledge she has a problem! She says she's totally fine. The only time she ever talked about her illness and admitted that she had a problem is when she did that documentary with Shane Dawson years ago. She started covering up and focusing on makeup. But then, she slowly started to body check again and started showing more of her body again. It's very sad that she refuses to get help, but you can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped, unfortunately. She has to want to live.

This motel is about a half hour away from me. It’s very upscale. Newport Rhode Island is surrounded by billion dollar mansions. I watched this video and don’t believe she swallowed the lobster roll, the clip stops when she took the bite, but whatever, she did eat the French fry. I’m proud of her for doing this new content. ❤

My sister is recovering from AN / ED. I think Eugenia is doing the right thing by eating small amounts right now, as refeeding can hurt people if they eat too much after not eating for a while. I am proud of her, and I think it's real, because there is no way she would ever put food near her face otherwise. I really, truly believe this, and I hope we continue to see her get better. I think her eating on camera is so amazing, that's huge. I personally don't eat in front of people typically, even those that are close family and friends .... so I can't imagine how difficult and scary this experience may have been for her.
I’m so relieved and happy for her. Even though it’s the tiniest of nibbles, at least it’s a little bit of progress. I know it is very hard to make those steps. I hope she keeps going and healing. As a former ballet trainee I suffered a lot from body dysmorphia because at 80lb and 4'11" I was defined as too fat and too short. Girls who looked like Eugenia were applauded and kept in the top schools. For awhile, I tried to eat only 100 calories per day. I understand where it is hard to try to eat more. Licking the lobster roll is a step forward.
I hate the way society defined a certain body image as healthy, or not. It makes me sad sometimes. If your too skinny, people say eat more your too skinny, and if you gain weight, they say your too fat, not the right height, too tall, ect. Society has got to stop stereotypeing society, and judging people. We are ALL beautiful. They is no reason to tear one another like a piece of meat. You are beautiful, and fine the way you are. Thing is with this is you're not looking at it through an ED lense.
Having a tiny nibble on a sandwich, half a fry and a few sips of lemonade is a HUGE deal for somebody with an ED, let alone one as severe as hers clearly is... then there's doing it on camera, weather this video is old or not sharing that goes against everything the ED is telling her because the ED will tell her that's shameful to the worst degree.
So what of some of the motivation comes financially from wanting to be monetised? The fact she had this win over the ED no matter what the motivation is very significant.
You see her lip quiver, you see the pain through forced smiles....but she did it... and no doubt her ED psychologically tortured her after it.
For somebody as chronically and dangerously ill as Euginia even what seems as tiny steps from an outside perspective , no matter what the motivating factor is, any win over an ED which fogs rational thought and reasoning is significant.
This poor girl breaks my heart. All the things people hate on her for...People need to remember they're seeing the personification of a severe life threatening mental illness not the person underneath who's insight into the severity of the situation is pretty much none existent as the ED took over all rational thought.

Even though she did take an itsy bitsy bite of the bread u can see the fear. As someone who suffered with a bad ed i get that fear. Its a real terrifying feeling. Maybe its a good thing she is filming herself taking a tiny bite of bread and fry but im still skeptical. If she had only kept filming herself straight through without cutting away and just gone straight from the roll to the fry and even if that was all she ate i would have been over the moon happy and proud of her. But her cutting leaves me to believe she could have immediately spit it out. I just think itd be so tragic if something happens to her.
