It has been a long long while since I last visited Manchester, to be exact August 2016. So a visit was well and truly needed, in which a lot has changed since my last visit. To be exact, the changes in Singapore's operations, of which are now being operated by A350's.
It was nice to get some early morning winter lighting. We had also arrived just after a downpour of rain, which made for a nice wet runway, but also a boggy southside spotting area, making it quite challenging to film at times. This video was shot between 07:15 and 10:20 in the morning of the 7th February. After 10:20, we left to visit the Visitor park prior to single runway operations commencing, so stay tuned for the latter video
This video includes RW23L Departures, and a few landings on RW23R in the distance. Movements include Singapore Airlines' A350, Etihad 777-300(ER), Emirates A380, Thomson 787 Dreamliner, a Thomas Cook A330-200, Virgin Atlantic 747, Saudia 787-9, Swiss CS100, Flybe Dash 8's, Loganair Saab 340 and Saab 2000's, Thomson and a United 757, American A330-200, Ryanair 737-800's, Thomas Cook A321's and more!

This video is a standout but what really sets it apart for me is the sound. I can't recall ever hearing such clear, wind-free recording from a prime position like this. I can play just the sound and enjoy it almost as much as watching the video, too. Absolutely spectacular.
I have a newer southside video, there is a bit more wind in it sadly but I hope you can enjoy that one as well 😎

Nice shot of the Etihad departing, altogether some great footage. That A350 stood out on its own, by far the best videe of one I've seen departing hands down. Well filmed. Liked :)

I'v watched so many take off and landing videos, I think yours are the best. Upload more and I like the fact that in your videos you do also record the retracting gear on positive rate, many aviation enthusiasts cut that scene off.

excellent video , the south side paths have been a mud bath the last few weeks ,you had better weather than I had the day after we awful.
It was an awful mud bath when we went, made some panning a little bit difficult, I can't deny on the walk back to the car I slipped hehee
