If someone is born “manglik,” or Mars-bearing, he/she is considered to be cursed and cause an early death to husband/wife. According to an old Hindu custom, the only way to break curse for a bride is to marry a peepal or banana tree! The tree is then destroyed, and the curse is broken.they(in case of girl) can also marry a silver or golden idol of the Hindu God Vishnu.
That food stuff is so true!! Even my mother stops me from drinking TOO MUCH of tea because it will make my skin darker!!

Hypocrisy is that people who themselves are dark skinned will criticize others. If u are a girl( from South also) even a little bit of increased melanin might decrease ur chances of getting married( by arranged marriage). I've seen this firsthand. 🙁🙁🙁
