Ajax were doomed to lose when they played Three little birds towards the end of half time. Literally counting chickens too early.

This was glorious as a Spurs fan, but also bittersweet. If it could have been any other club, we would have wished it. Given the very close links between the two clubs, Ajax are family. This was like taking Fredo for a boat ride…

At the 1:17 mark, the Ajax defender in the middle just slips ever so slightly, and that's how Alli is just able to push the ball to Moura. Talk about a game of inches....
