- How Many Guppy Fish in a 10 gallon Aquarium? This is a perfect choice fish to use in a smaller fish tank like this. I also love keeping these fish because you don’t have to have a heater and I can save a lot on electricity. Figuring out how many guppies you could fit in a 10 gallon fish tank is a good question. Gonna get hate for this but I have a 10 gallon with over 20 live plants, and it’s stocked with 16 fish that have successfully lived in harmony almost a year. Granted the fish are mainly tetras and cherry barbs, with the biggest being a killifish. But still, live plants are the difference maker.

I love the cheese ball containers! I use two of them for water changes so I know exactly how much I'm taking out and putting back in

I had about 40 guppies fry in 10 gallon later down to 20 adult guppies.

You want to do a minimum 5000k for plants. You want full spectrum lighting. I think you should be good with those wraparounds.
For me, when it comes to live bearers, I just think if every fish in the tank can’t hide, then population is not a problem.🤷🏿♂️

I have about 30 to 50 in my tank. I move majority of fry to a 5 gallon tank to grow out in and selectiv breed in. Then put them back in the 10 when they are big enough.
When you set up all the tanks in the basement and around the house your electricity bill is going to be huge. I don't know why i was thinking about that lol.

If you got about if you got about 10 gallons and you've got a bazillion plants in there and you go to filter running I'm thinking you could probably have 6 to 10 guppies.

I accidentally got my ratio mixed up and I have more males than females! I’m not worried about breeding them much but are they ok aggression wise? I have four males and two females in a planted 20 gallon. What should I do?
Remove 3 males! Poor ladies.

🤔🐠🐟 I was wondering how many Tetras could go in a 10 gallon with a Beta ? I would like to do 2 different colors of tetras and wanted like 12 . Is this gonna be too many in a live planted tank with the Beta ?

Really depends on the type of tetras and the Betta aggression. Neons would need 20+ gallons. I feel like 12 tetras is a bit much tho. You'd need some decent planting to block lines of sight and prevent significant aggression.

Oh boy I put 16 guppies, two pair of dianos,one pair of neon tetra, one pair of three dots corydoras and one pair of electric blue rama rosy and sum non co2 plants guppy grass and anubis is it okay or should I remove sum fish suggest me sumthing
Yea I would get some more tanks way to many fish I would only put 10 guppies at most in a 10 gallon
I started with 7 guppies. Within 2 months I had to give a petstore the excess.

I mean I've got a 6 gallon tank I've got some hardscaping a plants in there and I have a beta he actually gets along with them great and I do water changes three times a week no problems pH is balanced out because I put in some crushed coral and put three doses of the Taiwanese water conditioner that we have here yeah no problem.
The water can only handle any kind of anubias because the humidity is too high. I use a newbius as floaters and then I also play place it in the back of the tank and in between rocks but they get along great and my tank looks pretty nice at least that's what my friends tell me
I've been in the hobby for 3 years I'm an American and I am allowed to have three tanks according to my landlord but if I had an entire fish room oh man I would have 10 gallon tanks and I would have a fraternity of guppies with one male betta I would have a sorority of females that are betas cuz females are awesome and then I would do an ender tank I would do different kinds of guppy tanks yeah and I know exactly how I would set up my room the space I'd have to do aquascaping and I would create tanks that any person can make without spending a fortune
I would have a good filtration system and a good light now thankfully plants that feed from the water column they don't need lots of light and so I've managed to create my tank in a way where it's lit and dark at the same time and I think the fish like it to be honest but my plants do well too so

We newbies to the hobby are looking to CZcams for answers. When it says "How many....most of us expect a reasonable answer in a reasonable time. Not a video of your home even tho you are proud of the things you have and your Superior knowledge of the hobby. We newbies wouldn't have asked or watched if we didn't know the answer. It may have been an exasperating video for you to do but I think it was much worse for those of us who finished watching. I feel you owe a video of much better quality to those of us who truly want good useful information. I'm sure you could pull that off. I've seen some of the videos you've done that were quite well.
I was thinking the same thing. Most of the time when I am looking for answers on youtube, I run across this channel and I mostly just mute or skip through the minutes of aragant crap to find about 30 seconds of useful information. Glad I am not the only one
