With the caulking gun one do you have to glaze before putting the window in or glaze after glass is put in

I was wondering the same thing. I am guessing yes because both kinds need that extra seal.

How long should it take to dry? I put glazing on 2 weeks ago and it still leaves a fingerprint…

Instructions are confusing - which is which ? How about a clear CHART with same info but more concisely presented?

DAP Painters Putty 53 works better.

That looks terrible! It's bumpy and the lines aren't even close to straight. You don't smooth glazing compound with a 5-Way tool you use a glazing knife. Plus DAP glazing compound out of the can needs to sit for 7-10 days before you prime it with a oil base primer or paint with a oil base paint.
