@@teggianosalerno5050 There is also the difference between their current stuff and their old style, people clown them because many prefer the earlier stuff. They are undoubtable a hugely successful band though.

@@clasmaster1471 I think it's because all the songs that become "hits" sound incredibly similar lol and then it just became a meme to hate them.
Same thing for bands like Creed and Imagine Dragons. Started out well loved, got oversaturated and then became a meme.
@@Helldog6 Creed actually got a lot of hate due to the amount of Christian based lyrics within their songs, despite them coming out multiple times saying they were not a Christian rock band a lot of people just took it as they were and wanted to try and gain fame and popularity in a genre of music that mostly speaks against all forms of religion, also South Park roasting them didn't help things either lol.
They get a lot of hate but they really are a solid band 👌🏼

@@djm4457 I think they just didn’t get a lot of love at first. Plus they were in a lot of memes but that actually benefited them because more people found out about their music and they’re more generally liked now. How I see it anyways

@@teakmagic1048 They got a lot of love in the early 2000's, unbelievably successful back then so most young people hated them for the simple fact that they were mainstream even if it was still good.

Nickleback was one of the first bands that got me into rock (despite the hate they get). If you're continuing on the rock train, I'd highly recommend anything from Alter Bridge, especially the studio version of "Blackbird" or "Words Darker Than Their Wings" live from Albert Hall. Myles Kennedy is one of the most amazing vocalists of modern rock along with Mark Tremonti being one of the greatest guitarists of all time.
Same here, after hewring them I started exploring the genre more. Now i run songs from Nickelback tops, Daughtry, Seether, 3 Doors Down, Creed, and Linkin Park also tops, these are my main top groups of the genre.

You need to check out Def Leppard , they're the best band ever . Def Leppard has put out 12 albums , 8 of them have debuted in the top 10 . Their 4th album Hysteria is considered the 3rd album in music history to have all the songs on it a #1 hit . They are the first band successful with the drummer they have , which you'll have to check out any of their videos from their Hysteria album to see .

One of the best concerts that I've ever seen was NICKELBACK, THREE DOORS DOWN and MAROON 5, when they all had one song out. My friends teenage daughter won tickets on the radio and had no one to go with her and her parents wouldnt let her go by herself.
So, they asked me if I wanted to go. I barely knew who they were, but she really wanted to go. So, I sat in the bleachers (outdoor show) while she hung out by the stage.
It was a great show. People like to pick on these guys for some reason?

From a small town in Alberta Canada, they use to get meme'd own as in the early 2000's they were played on the radio repetitively. There lead singer is known to be somewhat of a deva as well. No one admits that they like Nickelback, but deep down everyone likes Nickelback.
