I am kinda holding on to hope that our 1st look at doom will come not in fantastic four, but black panther in a mid credits scene. Anyone who has read comics knows namor and tchalla never got along and doom used that narrative to start the doom war which if marvel can adapt elements of that leading into fantastic four? We are in a big treat imo 👍

@@emergencyawesome it would give doom a huge power up through the vibranium and maybe we would get hints to Mephisto who has the soul of dooms mother. He gives doom 1 day a year to try to free her. So there is the motivation for invading wakanda for the vibranium. What a great introduction to the mcu imo

I expect this to be the plan for the MCU:
Phase 4 big bad - Kang(s)
Phase 5 big bad - Dr. Doom
Phase 6 big bad - Galactus
Right now it feels like everything coming out is coming back to Kang in some way right now (Loki, MoonKnight, Antman). I think we will enter Phase 5 when Kang reaches his peak and begins his downfall/is defeated. While that happens I think Dr. Doom will either be majorly hinted at, softly introduced (in a post credit scene), or be an outright character, although I don't expect him to seem like a huge threat at first. Maybe he's gonna try the good guy thing and work with the Fantastic 4 for a while to help stop Kang as Dr. Victor Von Doom, but then feel betrayed by them somehow or maybe there's a cold war like situation where different ideologies push friends apart until they become enemies and he becomes Dr. Doom.
Because all three of these antagonists are Fantastic 4 villians, I would expect the group to be introduced to the 616 MCU at some point during Phase 4 (probably around the same time as Doom). I expect FF to fill the niche that would be left by the "Avengers" title. Kang would be like the worldly threat, Doom would be the galactic threat, and Galactus would be the multiversal or interdimensional threat.
Similar to how Loki was the villain for phase 1 and was mostly a threat to just Earth, Ultron was a similar but slightly larger threat in that it would've been a problem for life on Earth as well as any life that Ultron inevitably discovers in time. Doom would likely only be an issue for life on Earth, but also anyone who would want to interact with life on Earth. Plus Doom can be extremely powerful and could probably take over a few star systems if he wanted to.
Galactus would be the Thanos 2.0. I imagine Galactus is going to be presented as more of a judge/celestial and view Earth as a planet he needs to devour because of all the things that keep happening to humanity. After Loki, Ultron, Thanos, Kang, and Dr. Doom (not to mention characters like Dormamu, The Dweller in Darkness, and Wanda) in less than half a century he might view Earth's existence as a danger to the multiverse.
This is probably very wrong, so please don't take it seriously, but I thought this would be a fun exercise. Let me know if you agree or disagree!
fans aren't gonna wait 20 years for Galactus... especially with F4 coming fairly soon. It's not going to be as simple as one big bad per phase like with Thanos

It's Strange that Multiverse of Madness is considered so average. I was getting really burnt out on Marvel for years and I thought it was one of their best, most unique movies that felt so tonally dark and unique with so much at stake. We finally, FINALLY got the Scarlet Witch I wanted.
For me it was average. I was expecting more madness but it was kind of dull. Same water down marvel movie.
Loved Reed Richard presented, hated that he was so dumb to actually tell SW how to defeat black bolt.
My biggest Dr. Doom/Fantastic 4 theories: 1) Doom will fight Dr. Strange at some point. 2) Doom will start assembling the Masters of Evil. 3) In doing so, he will recruit Kang into his team. 4) John Krasinski will reprise his role as Mr. fantastic. 5) The Chris Evans version of human torch will make a cameo somehow.

I absolutely love the idea of Merlin being the sorcerer supreme of his time. I genuinely hope that is the case and that they eventually go back and tell that story.
But the Ancient One was older than that, wasn't she? And I get the impression that she couldn't extend her life without being the sorcerer supreme, because the sorcerer supreme would recognize what she was doing.

We will absolutely see new versions in the MCU of the Fantastic Four and Doom. I wouldn't be surprised if they make Kang a sort of distant descendant of Tony Stark instead of Reed Richards although they might make him a relative of Reed once they get around to revealing the F Four. I can't wait to see how they do that.

Much like Iron Monger was sorta Crimson Dynamo(it was originally to be called that), Whiplash was a hybrid of Shiplash and Dynamo... nevermind a whole other litany of other hybridized ideas and adaptations. This universe can do whatever they like. They could literally have it be Nick Fury(not suggesting they ahould nor would) if they wanted to. Fact is, they can take whatever liberties they want. But whats more likely? That theyll have the undiscovered sibling of Tony Stark to which they have a convoluted explanation of Arno? Or have a very brief explanation that hes a distant desvendant of Tony Stark? Strange u quantify it as "too much".

Given the rather important role Doom played in the birth of Valeria Richards, and the fact that the 838 universe has closer ties to comic lore, the fact that Reed said he had "kids" pretty much means Doom would HAVE to be there. Or Veleria wouldnt.
For that mattter, Franklin being the second child would pretty much guarantee Galactus, given their shared destiny.
Big G is dead in main continuity and so is Black Winter...that "shared destiny" isn't 616 (alternate universe) and it was written a while back (retconned) so not really guarantee...like having ultron bots should guarantee a Tony Stark or a Hank Pym....dont say 838 has close comic lore ties- Captain Carter Maria Rambeau Captain marvel, none of these people exist in the comic 616, so we not gone assume everything is the same as what happened in the main TL
TVA doesn't even use quantum energy for their portals, they use Alioths energy-totally different portals...

Doctor Doom could really be the complex villain that the MCU needs right now. I've seen a few complaints that some of the recent Marvel shows and films have lacked a nuanced villain and in Doom you have a guy who can play both sides of the story and be sympathetic and evil simultaneously. I felt that energy early on in the Thor films with Loki being such a troubled soul who you feel bad for at times while also being insanely power hungry and cruel. Hopefully having Doctor Doom in the MCU could bring that exact sort of character arc but taken to a whole different level.
When Wanda asks reed Richards if he has kids, he says he has 2 which means that Valeria is now officially in the mcu and dr. Doom is the one who delivered her. So it is possible that they are sharing tech which is why he’s using dooms teleportation device

I think that MCU wanda is definitely a lie because in the last scene when she was fighting 813 Wanda, 813 Wanda touches her face and says “know that they’ll be loved” makes more sense. I think they switched places, and then MCU Wanda than dream walked and impersonated herself killing her self and destroying the temple

What they are building up to is so exiting...the idea that Dr. Doom could essentially form from the shadow of several Avenger's combined...I would highly wager to bet that Doom's actual armor is not of the same line as Reed Richard's tech, but will fall in line with Stark tech and how the Ultron Bots were forshadowing of Doom Bots, as well as provide him a little connection to Vision. It sure did seem like a loss though to have the Darkhold come and go without Doom popping up yet. What will be the lineage for his magic? Will it be purple or red or what?

Dr doom is my absolute favorite. I think that he’s been here in the mcu the whole time but sees the events of the mcu as beneath him, until thanos. Then he took that personally, but he was dusted. So now he’ll seek higher powers to be ready for another Thanos or Kang

The remote used to unlock Stranges manacles is a mini cooper key fob....... vast budgets amd lots of completely fabricated physical sets but I just love spotting that kind of TV budget scifi prop work.

I'm stocked and excited for all that's coming up, it's starting uo falling into place! I really wanna see how they eventually portray secret wars and the battle world especially if they put it all right with and the characters and story lines in place!
I'd like to think that He Who Remains Kang is our 616 Kang, and he idolized Tony Stark, whom of which invented time travel in our Universe.
But during the council of Kangs, I'd like to think that a Kang from a universe similar to the 838 Universe where Dr Doom invented time travel, had shared Dooms Time Portal with the rest of the Council.
Maybe the yellow energy is more sufficient than the blue energy, which is why He Who Remains uses the yellow energy while Reed Richards uses the Blue energy. But either way, I'd like to think that our Kang, had taken the design of the Doom Portal and integrated it into Tony Starks Quantum Platform. Since Tony literally developed a time travel GPS for his Quantum Tunnel, it would be a more efficient design but Dooms Time Portal would be much more compact design. So just mix the best parts of each universes technology, which is why the 616 Kang was the final Kang.
Hope the upcoming Directors/Writers works together because MCU is iconic for the connections not for brings us Superhero Movies. The Stories matters!!
I’ve spent years walking past the ho-hum “Dr. Doom Fearfall” ride at Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme park. I’m looking forward to the MCU bringing Dr. Doom to life and making him interesting.

I would really like a dr doom stand alone that covers his origin. You could also throw in a reed richards easter egg to tease at the F4
If they are going to give Wanda a movie in the near future the movie should include Dr Doom, as either a second main character or an antagonist. Those two characters have history in the comics and both use magic. So the movie can be about Dr Doom trying to get his hands on Wanda's powers after she went into hiding (after she destroyed the Darkhold), so that he can use it to rescue his mother from mephisto. The movie can then end with Wanda helping Dr Doom save his mother and him offering her a place to live in Latveria. This could also be a great way of officially introducing Dr Doom into the mcu if they don't in Wakanda forever or if they tease him in there.
Once they get around to doing a new X-men franchise I really hope they introduce Mr. Sinister.

My prediction: We're not leading up to another traditional Avengers movie for at least 5 years. Instead the main big collaborative pillars will be Young Avengers (vs Thunderbolts?), Fantastic Four and X-Men. Once those have all happened, Avengers will return.
Apparently there was going to be a sequence at the beginning of Dr Strange 2 where Scarlet Witch decapitated the 616 version of Mordo. He was apparently going to have a limp in his leg and be there to take her powers away as per what he was doing at the end of the first movie, but he's killed. Wondering if they'll use 616 Mordo at all going forward or just forget about him.

The Secret Wars I remember, was where Spiderman found the black ooze which became attached to his suit, and then became the first appearance of the black spidey costume? I had the full 1-12 issues of that series way back then. I guess, it won't be made like that comic series? I hope, they finally get the F4 done right. I hope to see Blade, some here done the line.

If they introduce Doom by the time Secret Wars is starting they could use him as his comic book version and since Kang has so much power he can can take the place of Molecule man then at some point they could have a conflict , which would be an MCU thing unless one destroys the other like Doom did to Strange for disobeying him in the comics . The Loki series has made me look forward to what is coming from Marvel .
Fantastic Four is the best! I can’t wait! I hope they pick good actors for everyone! I thought they nailed it with the 2000s movies, personally (especially Ben). But MCU may be a little more serious so I am curious to see what they will do

It’s funny you mention Endgame because I was just watching that tonight for the 1,000th time. I was thinking during the movie that Tony and Bruce could’ve used Reed Richards’s & Hank McCoy’s help building his time portal at the Avengers Compound.

More likely the color change is due to the energy source being used to power the technology. I believe the MCU uses color to denote the origin of the energy powering any given character or device.

I'm so looking forward to seeing the new FF and Dr. Doom... Yes, the last 3 films well 2/3 were campy but they were spot on with Doom.
I hope Fiege starts out the panel with, "I've made sure to save time to talk about the Fantastic 4....... and Mutants.......
I am expecting them to use both Kang and Dr. Doom. In the comics they did have encounters. I can see it being secret wars part 1 and part 2. Where Dr. Doom seeks Kangs power and obtains it. Meanwhile Galactus arrives. And please with the part 2 and multivers. Have the X Men, Fantastic Four, silver sufer, EVERYONE.... All our new characters and old, Thor of course. But then it being the multiverse and the stakes being so high. That's when we get Venom and Spiderman like in comics.. have them build the sinister six and have them there.. make it huge,, bigger than end game and then bring back Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans and the entire old school gang are called back to duty only knowing that they won't survive anyway even when they go back. But still have it like the comics. Multiverse, I want Thanos to arrive and God Emperor Doom and Thanos have the best dailogue in secret wars. Then Doom rips into Thanos like butter. Kang could’ve minimized the amount of mutants allowed in certain parts of the multiverse. Could explain why 616 seems like it has barely any while 838 could have plenty of them.

May I remind you that Stark only figured out how to navigate the quantum realm, the actual hardware to enter it, and thus the basis for all of Stark's work was Dr. Pimm's. And if you notice on their quantum machines they actually constructed the doorways from the outside in.

I feel they should get an actor that will want to play Doom for like 10+ years the way Chris H. Has been doing!! And actually have him be the same accent and I ethnicity that’s close enough!!! Like I the actor who was in F & F #6 and the Dracula Untold movie Luke Evans sounds pretty close!! Plus with his accent sounds a closer fit!! Or there Nicolaj Coster waldau might work but only if there will to stick around long term

They are not “distantly related” if that’s really his half brother. Perhaps what you were trying to say is that they do not have a close relationship, meaning they either don’t get along or don’t care to socialize with each other, which is totally different from what you said. Language matters.
Here is the ISSUE (lol)... Dr. Doom is supposed to be from earth-616.. not earth-838... So Reed Richards, is using that portal from a future Earth 616, to travel through time and the multiverse.. to earth-838 for this meeting.. or is he traveling from the past...?
But really, seems like the X-Men movies could still be valid if they took place before the current marvel phase timeline. Maybe professor X, made everyone forget what happened with the Phoenix, so no one really remembers mutants. Now the avengers came along, and the blip happened so it is safer for mutants to reveal themselves. When the avengers time traveled, it was also after the blip, so the blip was needed for Kang to develop his technology, and so was the multiverse of madness. And the circle continues.

Also, there's now an inconsistency in Dr. Strange 1, when The Ancient One is explaining Sling Rings, she says it allows one to teleport to anywhere in the Multiverse. This is clearly an inaccuracy, but I've also not seen anyone mention this. What's up with that? 😂

I think it would be amazing if Dr. Doom came from the dead reed universe. They should've shown a scene with him walking into the illuminati base after it was destroyed calling reed a fool and then finding his way into 616 with the Wanda that was possessed and have this tie into the incersions

I feel like they used that Tech inference to not merely confirm Doom along with all Characters, by Proxy, in the MCU, but more still, perhaps the link in Kang's lineage and their respective Backstorys. This then ties going forward
I thought the Easter egg about incursions was internally inconsistent because causing an incursion to ask for help against one is a little fruity. Not to mention he'd be incursing in whatever alternate universe too. Elephants all the way down.
