However, he was under terrible stress after being ambushed out of the blue in circumstances which still haven't been fully explained and being wrongfully attacked on Twitter (which he wasn't on himself) by none other than J.K. Rowling and Chelsea Clinton - two people who knew nothin about him or his record. But you are right. No one should ever apologise to bullies.
