  • I was asked why I preferred using the smaller batteries over the backpack battery system for our handheld equipment. Here are my thoughts on it!

    the backpacks also limit your ability to sweat and regulate heat from your body.

    Have you ever looked at the Greenworks Commercial equipment? That is what I use in my electric lawn care business and it works better than my old redmax equipment.(The trimmer especially). Runtime is great and so far I have never had a single problem out of the equipment. Im also getting ready to get the rival mower from mean green!!

      Hey Josh,
      I have actually and wasn't impressed with it. In many side by side comparisons, Ego performed better. However, that has been a few years and I would like to see if they've made any improvements.

    Can’t wait till technology gets so good that you have a 30ah battery with weight and size of the 2.0 battery

      Man, won't that be nice Greg. It's coming.

    does the echo speed feed heads fit on ego stuff?

    • @QuietLawn
      @QuietLawn  Před 2 lety

      I know it does on the rear motor models we use. I've tried one before. I like the Ego speed feed head better though.

    Which EgO power trimmer are you running currently?

    • @QuietLawn
      @QuietLawn  Před 2 lety

      We run the rear motor models. Either the multi tool or the dedicated trimmer.

      @@QuietLawn do you mind to tell me which battery you are using since they have came out with new ones. Thanks of the EGO

      @@LeviHardin28 We only use the 5ah batteries for the string trimmers and blowers. The bigger ones are too heavy and better suited for the mowers.

    Am angry to not be able to depend on a reliable 56V battery for longer than 1 year. Have recharged the 56 Volt battery and it won’t last fully charged more than 30 seconds when reinstalled to trimmer.
