Okay so to people who are confused about why Pond was being too shy, let me explain. Pond has been a fanboy for Phuwin from the day they met and he's basically a very shy person. But after becoming comfortable with Phuwin, he started flirting with him. Pond is very fond of Phuwin. They meet almost everyday and Pond has always wanted Phuwin's attention, but Phuwin doesn't flirt with him cause he was too young just 17, 18 before. But after Phuwin turned 19, he started flirting with Pond and this event was the first time Phuwin flirted with him in public. That's why Pond wasn't able to believe and was blushing too much
