Have you ever been waiting for someone you've met and missed for no reason? On Cloud Nine tells you about the story of love and the relationship between Tiew (Meen) and Mork (Rossy). Tiew promises to wait for Mork at Chiang Mai where they first met and missed. Mork comes back to Chiang Mai with different feelings for Tiew. Will Mork be back to Tiew to continue their unforgettable memories? Will they be on cloud nine? Let's find out from the mini-series "On Cloud Nine".

I'm so amazed how Meen looks so young here, but looks so matured in the series "Oh! My Sunshine". At a very young age Rossi's so good here, too. I can feel the pain through his eyes. Definitely great set of actors. I can't wait! 🥰
The obvious effort and love that has gone into this series is already very obvious and the beautiful camerawork showing us the Thai landscape is just breathtaking. I feel very privileged to experience this on a free-to-air platform which is becoming a rarer and rarer thing these days. Thank you Mind Trio for bringing this to us and I cannot wait for the next episode =)

Unlike any other BL I have watched! Truly unique, moving, and the cinematography was just amazing! Congratz to the whole team, that was really well done.

I haven't been so confused in my whole life as what I'm experiencing with this drama. I'm literally rechecking the video every now and then just to make sure that I'm watching the first episode. I can't even guess where the storyline is going but my mind is malfunctioning already. But I'm 50% sure that Meen is a ghost.

Having just finished this... You should give this a chance. It doesn't make much sense at the beginning, but once you put all the pieces together you'll find an unique and riveting love story. Beautiful cinematography, great chemistry and a plot that will glue to the screen. I'm glad I found this ❤️
The story looks very interesting and the scenery is so beautiful. Meen and Rossi have great chemistry and they portray their characters convincingly. Mork seems confused and a little cautious. Tiew is fun and likes to flirt. Can't wait to see how the series progresses. ❤

The actors are perfect, and the filming locations and scenery, too. But after watching this episode and the others that were released before September 4, 2022, I was playing this episode in the background without watching it while I was doing schoolwork. It made me aware of how playful the actors' voices are. The musical soundtrack is also fantastic for this story. The piano and ethereal synthesizer are otherworldly.
It's my most favourite place many BL series been filmed here or similar area from off the grid villages to home stays or resorts including the biggies ATOTS, Sky In Your Heart, Love of Winter and many more especially Wayufilm's OakMon BLs.
So beautiful.

ATOTS you prob know was supposed to have been filmed on location in one of the mountain villages in Chiang Mai I think Pha Pan Dao was actually supposed to be based in Doi Pui village with the nearby waterfall scenes but prior to filming during the production team's recon the village tribe believed that if they allowed the sudden influx of crew, cast, vehicles and equipment this would upset the spirits of their dead so they refused to allow them to film there.
Instead a replica of the Chiang Mai village was made on location in a disused homestay I think it was which was actually in Chiang Rai.
So the school, rangers station, Tian's house, Chief's house, Village Square etc was copied from the original Chiang Mai village and redone in Chiang Rai to make it look like Chiang Mai's real village which was the original plan and shooting at one of the waterfalls there instead but I believe some of the backdrop was actually Chiang Mai but most was filmed on location in the replica village in Chiang Rai and areas made to look like the originals intended.
If you watch bits of On Cloud Nine, ATOTS, Sky In Your Heart, Love of Winter and others you'll recognise places especially OakMon's too.
Oh aye n I think was Check Out ep 0 special no bits n bobs from somewhere there too?
There was a big chunk of the backdrop in another series showing the gardens, temple too and for the life of me I can't remember which one.
I can honestly say though out of all the series filmed on location in Chiang Mai city, university, old town, national park, viewpoints, homestays, resorts, countryside villages, mountain backdrop etc that I have seen in any series On Cloud Nine is by far the most beautiful and exquisite locations filmed to show the true 'Rooftop of Thailand' and it makes you feel like you're really standing right there too.
What gets me every time is the low clouds when the filming is high up at one of the viewpoints and the mist in the distance

The whole story plot, making, filming locations and overall workmanship that's gone into this series has shoved the BL Bar up another notch in my opinion.
N aye no forgetting Meen, Rossi and New's acting too lol.
Am no usually a fan of supernatural spirit genre ones and am usually a tough cookie, didn't cry at Titanic lol but suspecting this was a misplaced spirit from first ep I was expecting a wee blub but heyho run out of hankies and on the bog roll near the end lol but happy ending a must have.
I like the Dream/other world effect that this series has. And I smiled to myself when he said "don't be a narcisist"
It's rare this kind of series in France, so I'm so happy to see it on CZcams! I want a sequel! The two boys are so cute! Their story intrigues me 🤔

I’ve seen a lot of BL and Thai series. But I have to say, if the rest of the series is anything like episode 1, this is going to be a wondrous series. The first episode was truly a work of art. The beauty of the camera work and the way they enhanced the beauty of the natural scenes are breathtaking! Can’t wait to watch episode 2!

Impressive cinematography (congrats to the director of photography) beautiful locations and two beautiful actors playing interesting and confusing roles. I have my suspicions due to the title and the fact Meen's character wears white clothes all the time but I won't tell more just in case I could spoil things for others.
I find it ethereal, relaxing and with a zen tone that I enjoyed very much. Hope things get more complex back at Bangkok next week and eager to see where the story will lead us. Good job both Meen and Rossi. Sharing the link with all my friends.

Thing is a lot of bls are now high budget. And production companies are new. Can't sustain the free cost like GMMTV or Line TV. So they decide to make it pay to view. I don't fault them. We can watch these free series too. Kinnporsche was very high budget and sponsors like Maserati. Def can't make the series for free. And yes I have my suspicions too...the man in white is not human.

How to fall in love once again with Thai landscape. Regarding the filming, really loved the streets and colors at the end definitely gave some dimention to the cinematic aspect. Acting looking great so far, very lovely. Also liked the background soundtrack, it suited the scenery. Waiting to see what will happen next !

This story looks so interesting and every scenery is beautiful.
Imaginative and unusual, this is anything but your regular BL series. It's a bit hard to categorise - part romance, part supernatural, part journey - scenic and personal. The cinematography is beautiful, the musical soundtrack is lovely, the boys are attractive and their ongoing relationship with each other will develop from strangers to boyfriends, I guess. Intriguing. It will be interesting to see how it all progresses.

This series is so beautiful at first felt confused but still watched it because actors are really good and the great cinematography, music. Everything was so beautiful about this series. It's complicated but I guess that's makes it different from other I was trying to figure out theories after each episode but at the end it's all clear and really awesome. Wish it could have longer version and get the attention which it really deserves for both actors and series too❣️

So Meen is the imaginary friend of Rossi?? Instead of finding a “soul mate”, he found his soul. Or he portrayed this guy who accompanied him on his own vacation in his dream. Meen could be his dead bf? His first love? He couldn’t let it go so he imagined everything? The editing was great. I feel very comfortable watch ep1. Thanks everyone 💕
Interesting. Everything felt as though it was a dream without being outright direct and saying if it was or was not a dream. Very imaginative and different from any shows I’ve watched before. Interested to see how the show progresses

This first episode seem very promising for the rest of the serie, I'm really interested in what's going to happen next!
It looks like the guy in white is some mountain spirit or whatever and they've dated in a bunch of the other guy's previous lives but he never remembers his lover. But he does remember the mountain and so he goes there and that's the cue for the guy in white to start charming him again, a sign that he was reborn again and ready to meet him. Just my theory based on the first 10 minutes.

Just watched the first episode and the cinematography is beautiful. The background, dialogues and scenes looks like a poem. I am sure the story is going to be unique, so will watch the rest.

I saw a comment on MDL saying it might setting in the after life, and I think that it's such a good possibility and it seems amazing already.
One don't know he died I think and so arrived in the after life and the other is an angel or so who is here to help him in this new journey to the after life, it's going to be an emotional ride.
Maybe they even met before in life and now they meet again without them knowing they know each other.
Can't wait to see more.

This was so beautiful and even more beautiful it was done in northern thailand , great to see this story being filmed there it adds to feel and the cinematopgraphy and soundtrack is so perfect and of course there acting
