The EA versions were somehow harder to control, felt heavier, were more fragile, and didn’t allow multiple occupants but the worst part is they weren’t found on the map so you had delete yourself to spawn one in then it blew up when you get out. They really dropped the ball with vehicles.
The Hailfire is one of my favorites concept wise, because firing a ton of missiles was so cool to me. That was before I discovered the real world Hwacha 😂 But even if the missiles unfortunately go all over the place, it's still fun when they do hit I guess lol
Playing XL with AT-AT is really satisfying. Rebels flying everywhere. Recently I actually found a way to one shot AT-ATs. You have take heavy, put your mines on the front of a snowspeeder and ram the AT-AT's neck at full speed. (Full speed because otherwise the mines will blow before hitting the target.)
One of the additional quirks about the spider walker is that the beam completely pierces vehicles it shoots at with its solid beam, making it pretty easy to snipe gunners from the AT-TE's turret. This effectively allows you to constantly drain clone reinforcements while also damaging the AT-TE over time.
TX130-T, it's the speed demon. Also, if you've gotten used to it's controls on BF1/BF2, try playing 2003's Clone Wars game, that version has a variant of the TX-130 that is on steroids.
I see what you mean about the AAC-1, the A.I. pilot them like drunk monkeys, BUT, if you get in the missile seat yourself, the dps on those rockets is absolutely insane. Melts anything. It’s definitely the one vehicle in the game which needs two human people to work properly, but when it does it’s a nightmare.
As someone who plays modded battlefront II with cross-era, I've greatly learned to appreciate the AT-AT The damned thing can take out an AT-TE in a few shots.
It’s unfortunate that the game isn’t to lore accurate because the Mass Driver Cannon on the AT-TE can punch a hole right through the AT-AT when using the right ammunition and it’s a more stable walker platform.

I agree with the list. Alliance tank is kinda trash, but if the missiles are fired well, it brings pure devastation to enemy infantry. Amd my favorite tank is the AAT. I love the missile sound.
The AAC-1 can fire its secondary rockets endlessly if you hold down the trigger. There's not a long cooldown unlike the tanks that fire two rockets at once. Still probably the worst of the 'standard' tanks. But I'd put them ahead of speeders.

Tbh never bothered much with vehicles in the newer ones, they just made them to complicated as opposed to just walk up and get in like in these ones, can't wait for the classic collection here to
My favorite thing about the IFT is not only was it taken from the vehicular "Clone Wars" game but the way the fins move about seems to have been a carryover from Battlezone II: Combat Commander, also developed by Pandemic and both BZ2 and the classic Battlefront games use the Zero Engine. Oh, and the Armored Tank Droid uses the visual effects for the treads from BZ2 as well.
very nicely done! I find the AAT is like the cloestest thing to a real tank in Star wars. And the snowspeeder, i remember at least in BF1, the Al can get it rarely done with the tow cable. I always made it that I had a al co pilot, flew close to an AT-AT, the m switched seats to fire the cable and let the Al do the circleling, as i sucked as a kid at this. But that is what i loved about both BF games, how for the ps2 era, the bots understood teamwork, with the pilot/engieer bots able to be counted on for ammo and repairs
I wouldn’t mind if the missiles did a lot more damage or if they fired slower but had long range lock on capability. We already saw in AOTC 1 missile blew up an AT-TE.
Nice list ranking, although I'm a bit disagreed with the #1 and #2, I think AT-TE is the best more than AT-AT because unlike AT-AT, this vehicle have more than 1 operator seat which is more useful for offensive and defensive purpose. And the most important thing, AT-AT have one crucial weakness to snow speeders that could instantly destroy it.

the spiderwalker is the most op in my opinion cuz you can ramp up kills with the laser incredibly fast. and that rebel version of IFT-X / AAC-1-like is def in my top 3
I pretty much agree, but I prefer the AT-TE due to the better fields of fire and it being able to handle its own flanks more effectively. It seems to survive longer in the hands of the AI on the Rhen Var Harbor map
the aat is easily the best standard tank of all the 4 factions, not because it's the best to use but because it's the only one the faction actually uses

Can the missiles on the hellfire be aimed with target lock? On my old PS2 in the old battlefront they could be if the aiming cross turned red, like you could do with the gunship from the republic
@@Dankakin-SkyWalker-they can be target locked (its a necesity) and the reason they spew out like that is because if you didnt have to target lock the hailfaire would be way too strong at killing the AT-TE, infantry, and just about anything else as im pretty surr it has the most rockets per salvo in the game
The AAT is the best vehicle in my opinion. Faster than an AT-AT or AT-TE and you don't have to try and aim as low, and the lasers and missiles mixed with an explosive turret caused so much death in my years of experience!😂
I think that spider-walker should be much higher. Yeah, AT-TE and AT-AT are better, but spider-walker's laser is really powerful and easy to use, both on vehicles and troops.
I’d disagree about the ATD, I think it’s the worst of the tanks just for the fact it has no lateral or side to side movement. On Kashyyyk it might not matter as much but being able to strafe a target is such a huge advantage.
Snowspeeder is number 1, and its not even close. A skilled player can easily lock down and spawnkill literally the entire battlefield and be virtually invincible using it.
@@Dankakin-SkyWalker-Don’t use the tow cables. The ATAT can just back up and look down to shoot you dead. Instead either be to the sides, behind, or above the ATATs so they cant even try to shoot you. If you feel like taking one out, hit them in the neck, it will take a few attack runs but their armor is definitely not too strong for your blasters. Most of the time however, the ATATs should be the only thing you aren’t trying to kill. There’s only 2 ATATs compared to your 4 snowspeeders and the snowspeeders literally have more firepower too. Just wipe out all the enemy dish turrets and dodge whatever missiles that lock on to you, and a single snowspeeder can kill everything 4 times faster than a single ATAT can. Probably the only weakness is if the Empire manages to make it into the caves. From there they can run to echo base and cap it to stop new snowspeeders spawning. Even then though any existing snowspeeders will still be alive. If they have a good pilot in them then you’re gonna have to use multiple players repairing dish turrets to try to get one up before the snowspeeder notices, and try to shoot them out of the sky. Do all that and the Empire can try to make a comeback. Granted by the time this happens each snowspeeder pilot should have a 200+ killstreak racked up so Empire reinforcements might be a bit low.
Thanks for making this video! I agree with pretty much everything you said here but I'd personally swap the AT-TE and AT-AT around just because I like the clone wars more lol. Both vehicles are great and I agree with the AT-AT being number 1 objectively. I also never really used the hailfire tank droid and wow I had no idea it sucked that bad! I used it in 2004's game more. At least it's exclusive to Geonosis lmao. The vehicles here are WAY WAY Better than the new Battlefront 2! Its so much better to just hop in the vehicles and not spend battle points on them only for them to get destroyed so easily!

I generally disagree with some of the choices, or at least what you said about them, for example the hailfire, i understand everything else may be better but i do remember it being a menace when used right, especially against the AT-TE, im pretty sure you can lock and have homing rockets, and they auto aim at the weakspot and do tons of damage, but i haven't played in a while. And for the snowspeeder, AIs very much can, and will kill AT-ATs with tow hooks
I'd completely agree with your list, but I'm a bit confused why the AAT is higher than the "shotgun of doom". If it is because of the concussive blast of the main cannon, then okay. Other than that, the AAT is definitely the monster of monster tanks, I completely agree with you there. Just wondering, why are the spacecraft in the air missions not on the list? Also, no tauntauns? I'm with vonfaustien3957 and others... lol
I will say the ATD is more powerful, but it's really slow turning, which makes it easier to get to the side of it, which is a problem the AAT doesn't really have as much, its also harder to hit the AAT's weak spot, also didn't consider tauntauns as vehicles, they're animals lmao, and im saving space vehicles for a separate video because they're kinda hard to rank against ground vehicles

The hailfire is good when you want to do a suicide run and go berserk with the roquets, tearing the clones ranks apart, but it get destroyed easily

the aat is easily the best standard tank of all the 4 factions, not because it's the best to use but because it's the only one the faction actually uses

Can the missiles on the hellfire be aimed with target lock? On my old PS2 in the old battlefront they could be if the aiming cross turned red, like you could do with the gunship from the republic
Never actually tried, I just assumed they'd follow the reticle like every other rocket in the game 😐
@@Dankakin-SkyWalker-they can be target locked (its a necesity) and the reason they spew out like that is because if you didnt have to target lock the hailfaire would be way too strong at killing the AT-TE, infantry, and just about anything else as im pretty surr it has the most rockets per salvo in the game

The AAT is the best vehicle in my opinion. Faster than an AT-AT or AT-TE and you don't have to try and aim as low, and the lasers and missiles mixed with an explosive turret caused so much death in my years of experience!😂

I think that spider-walker should be much higher. Yeah, AT-TE and AT-AT are better, but spider-walker's laser is really powerful and easy to use, both on vehicles and troops.

I’d disagree about the ATD, I think it’s the worst of the tanks just for the fact it has no lateral or side to side movement. On Kashyyyk it might not matter as much but being able to strafe a target is such a huge advantage.
Snowspeeder is number 1, and its not even close. A skilled player can easily lock down and spawnkill literally the entire battlefield and be virtually invincible using it.
It could potentially be in the right hands with another player working on the AT-AT's but that's a rare situation
@@Dankakin-SkyWalker-Don’t use the tow cables. The ATAT can just back up and look down to shoot you dead. Instead either be to the sides, behind, or above the ATATs so they cant even try to shoot you. If you feel like taking one out, hit them in the neck, it will take a few attack runs but their armor is definitely not too strong for your blasters. Most of the time however, the ATATs should be the only thing you aren’t trying to kill. There’s only 2 ATATs compared to your 4 snowspeeders and the snowspeeders literally have more firepower too. Just wipe out all the enemy dish turrets and dodge whatever missiles that lock on to you, and a single snowspeeder can kill everything 4 times faster than a single ATAT can. Probably the only weakness is if the Empire manages to make it into the caves. From there they can run to echo base and cap it to stop new snowspeeders spawning. Even then though any existing snowspeeders will still be alive. If they have a good pilot in them then you’re gonna have to use multiple players repairing dish turrets to try to get one up before the snowspeeder notices, and try to shoot them out of the sky. Do all that and the Empire can try to make a comeback. Granted by the time this happens each snowspeeder pilot should have a 200+ killstreak racked up so Empire reinforcements might be a bit low.

Thanks for making this video! I agree with pretty much everything you said here but I'd personally swap the AT-TE and AT-AT around just because I like the clone wars more lol. Both vehicles are great and I agree with the AT-AT being number 1 objectively. I also never really used the hailfire tank droid and wow I had no idea it sucked that bad! I used it in 2004's game more. At least it's exclusive to Geonosis lmao. The vehicles here are WAY WAY Better than the new Battlefront 2! Its so much better to just hop in the vehicles and not spend battle points on them only for them to get destroyed so easily!

Ifts and aat are very inaccurate, i wouldve placed them much lower due to this, its just better to use something that can reliably hit targets

I generally disagree with some of the choices, or at least what you said about them, for example the hailfire, i understand everything else may be better but i do remember it being a menace when used right, especially against the AT-TE, im pretty sure you can lock and have homing rockets, and they auto aim at the weakspot and do tons of damage, but i haven't played in a while. And for the snowspeeder, AIs very much can, and will kill AT-ATs with tow hooks
I'd completely agree with your list, but I'm a bit confused why the AAT is higher than the "shotgun of doom". If it is because of the concussive blast of the main cannon, then okay. Other than that, the AAT is definitely the monster of monster tanks, I completely agree with you there.
Just wondering, why are the spacecraft in the air missions not on the list? Also, no tauntauns? I'm with vonfaustien3957 and others... lol
I will say the ATD is more powerful, but it's really slow turning, which makes it easier to get to the side of it, which is a problem the AAT doesn't really have as much, its also harder to hit the AAT's weak spot, also didn't consider tauntauns as vehicles, they're animals lmao, and im saving space vehicles for a separate video because they're kinda hard to rank against ground vehicles
