verbal speech through the use of electronic sounds I guess is the best way to put it. For the game Spike the machine was combining different ones to make it sounds like they were talking.
that is true, and people who called and complained about that got sent a cart for "Mine storm II" that fixed the problem, which is now one of the rarest games for the system.

Ive always really liked the look of it.. I was blown away by the Super FX effects of the SNES so when I first saw this, for 1982? Come on - thats pretty impressive..
I just like the style more, vector grahpics are so cool.
that was a fantastic review/video and I have to say I was surprised by the quality of the vectrix and the colour (UK spelling of color) sheets you can add to the screen was a very interesting idea and it worked well

That's a cool system, I like how it adds color using overlays especially that green, yellow and red overlay. Only thing is, I think I would get bored with the games easily.

i think there are at least 2 other driving games for vectrex, however both go for $100-$200 each...

Nice overview. I really recommend you get a the homebrew game Protector for it. This is a defender clone and you will be amazed about how good it is. Search on CZcams with keywords Protector & Vectrex to see some game play.
so beautiful. I like to dress up my vectrex in different clothing depending upon which faceplate I want to use on it.
Very interesting vids, I had a friend that had vectrex, and it was pretty cool little console...I always had a soft spot of vectrex graphics!

I agree the graphics look cool, kinda like an old school virtual reality but Im sorry, they in no one way compare to the NES graphics.
