i got Infamous a couple of weeks ago and i love it.. i bought it when i bought my MGS4 limited edition PS3 bundle. (which is amazing) and i fully agree with you on Klonoa. amazing game when it was first released, and the Wii version is even more amazing. good video, dude.
Most of the good RPGs for the SNES are now rare and command high prices online, especially for complete copies. It's better than stocks; their value has only gone up in recent years.
You are so lucky to get a complete copy of Earthbound, dude! The other day I went to my local Flea Market and was able to buy a complete copy of the original Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior for the NES for 2 dollars a piece (this is including the manuals, maps, and everything!) I'm hoping I can get lucky enough to find a complete copy of Earthbound there someday, which isn't very likely, but I can still dream. :-P
I got infamous two days after it came out. My cousin was over so we decided I would take the good route and he would play the evil route. It was good so we could see both sides before he left. I also got Prototype the day after it came out and man it is addictive.
Great score on EarthBound. I've been wanting to snag a complete copy myself lately, but I can't justify the cost at all. A complete boxed copy of MOTHER 2 is a fraction of the cost of a loose copy of EarthBound, and it's not like EarthBound is rare or anything. Blows my mind. I already own it on the MOTHER 1+2 cart for GBA at any rate, but I can only understand about half of what's going on. My Japanese is not as good as I'd like. Maybe one day...
Nice copy of Earthbound! What an essential game for your collection. I have a nice complete copy also. You should look for the Earthbound Zero bootleg for Nes, its awesome and it looks official.

I buy an average of 12~20 games a week and pay my monthly subcriptions to 6 mayor mmos and still have money to pay bills, gas ect. As a collector you learn to manage your budget around games. for example you wont have the best car or fancy brand sunglases and clothes but you will have hard to find games and memorabilia. Its just a mater of preference. For me Getting all the strategy and rpg like platformers is a priority. I own every system since the odysey and after a few years it builds up.
if you want to try the full wizardry experience, hunched over an apple ][e in the dark is an excellent way to do it ;) If you have no childhood apple ][e contact it might not be as fun as it is ot me, but as far as I know that was the first presentation, and it is superb.... great vid as usual! Oh yea, go grab starfy ;)

I bought the Advanced Collector's Guide from Digital Press, and after three weeks I checked to see what was going on; they had never sent it even though I paid for it. I was pissed to say the least. -_-
Sadly this is another game for the SNES that never made it over here. I would like it to come out for the VC or something or perhaps do a DS port like they did with CT because I heard great things about this game.
Yeah, EarthBound won't be released in the states because it has copyrighted music in it, and Nintendo of Japan would rather have this game never be released on the VC than have it extremely edited... :(
Hey, a question for you Pete, I just bought an earthbound with the oversize box and the guide, but it does not have carboard game tray holder, but the game and the guide are in excellent condition; I paid 170, was that an ok price?
i bought quantum of solace but i didnt buy it at best buy during the 10 dollar sale, i liked it alot, i hated how people gave it bad reviews i like the online

I only have 6 or 7 and wish i could buy more but im forced these days to only buy games that are under £10 unless something big is released. Im still curious though to know how you manage to find the time to play your games if you already played 60 hours of Sacred 2 :) Do you play any online games?

Sacred 2 was pretty crappy I thought.. I was hoping for more freedom in it - it had Fable 2 style 'fixed routes' as opposed to Oblivions freedom (of course I wasn't expecting that much but was still let down) but I much prefer earlier games like Balders Gate. The Universe and voice acting was just standard "Kill the goblins, smite thy foes", I thought it was pretty unispired. Got my cash back and went for Prototype.

I played GTA chinatown wars on my Ipod touch when it first came out. As much as it was a GREEEAT game, I don't think it was a good thing for the 12/13 years old boy I was to be that exposed to drug traffic XD. I bacame a real virtual hustler! I made millions reselling cocaïne in the game hehe... Still an amazing game and I would've like to play it on the DS.
what condition? I payed 37 bucks for mine but mine has that sun wash of being on display but still it was originaly shinkwrapped and still has toys'r us price tag. I got it when i was working iun toys r us it was in a return bin for years i guess by mistake and convinced my boss to alow me to buy it.
can you imagine this guy, when its time to dinner, he's making one of his "super collection's" video, and his mom calls him, "Stevieeee, com to dinneeeer" (with a sweet voice like calling a little kid). "yes mom, im ony my way!" -he says, do you work?, or still live with ur mama?, btw, did you know why microsoft put a HARD DISK in his first xbox, and then sony made PSP with a ms pro duo slot? and xbox 360, and ps3? and R4 for DS? do you know why they made them that way?
