the thing I love about these sorts of tools is that you can create novel but classical phrases that can then be resampled and used as loops that don't need copyright clearing. This library is very pricey though well worth it. Can't really justify the cost unless you're getting plenty of work scoring commercials or films.
I was thinking of buying this library, but when I went to their site I didn't really understand what was in it. This was the perfect demo. They should link this video on their site.
Really nice as usual! Absolutely love the "sexyness" of songs like the one you play at 9:20. Ever since i was a kid i´ve always loved that type of song. Maybe i have Jessica Rabbit´s song in Who framed Roger Rabbit to blame =) On a side note: have you tried/own NOVO Modern Strings from Heaviocity? If so could you make one of these for that library? Would love to see how it sounds on your hands.
That would be cool=) I was particularly interested in how the "regular" strings compare to other main orchestras out there. The string design thing and all, it´s just amazing what you can do with it.
Thanks Cory, could you tell me how you made this beautiful piece starting at 12 mn 32 secs up until 12 mn 58 sec, are there any "triggered" loops involved or did you play each instrument independently in Swing! ? If so, can you break down the parts by naming the presets/patches used?
The only bad thing is this review is that it makes me want spend money I don't have for a library I don't need. But I want it so much!
If you know HOW you may torrent down everything you want for free ))

I don't have Novo but I'd be happy to pick it up and do a video on it for my viewers :)
