The advanced parking assist is more involved than the you show. I have a 2024 Limited, fully optioned, and i have several more icons on that screen. The settings also has more options under it. Sometimes, finding stuff on this car is a chore since you dont access them often.
Camera location is great, sounds great too. I’m looking forward to seeing more of your videos. My 2024 Prius LTD AWD is arriving soon.🎉
Those first two buttons (auto park and 360 camera) are if you have the advanced parking package. I don't have that package with my Prius Prime (Premium trim). Seeing that it takes time to setup the auto parking, it looks like a feature I'm not missing. I would have liked the digital rear view mirror. The car builder says it's a $200 add on, but the way these cars have no availability, you can't "build" your own car (and to retrofit the digital rear view apparently then would cost $1000).

Something you might want to look at:. in another CZcams video, they report that the body bends in when you press on it. They say it feels like cheap plastic, possibly for crush protection in a crash. Just how firm does the body feel?

I haven't really tried drive modes with my new Prius Prime, but with my 2010 Prius, I did notice some difference with breaking (and gas) in different modes. With the Prime, if I switch from its auto EV to hybrid, I do notice it goes to regenerative breaking right after I take my foot off the accelerator.

The text says: "And if the owner is really particular about how much regen they get, they can also choose three different levels of brake regeneration levels from the settings tab on the driver’s display. After cycling through a number of screens, you arrive at the regenerative brake setting that allows you to choose from three levels of “deceleration”. The only problem with this setting is that it will reset every time the vehicle is turned off. A Toyota rep told me they are working on an update that will allow that setting to stick, but at launch, it will not. "
@@pietroprestininzi I was speaking of my observations: there's definitely more of a regen braking that kicks in when the Prime switches from auto (EV) to hybrid mode (you can feel an active deceleration if you take your foot off the accelerator).
I received my Prime XSE Premium a few months ago - wonderful car - and I can confirm the car has 3 levels of B-mode regen, it is configured by going into the Vehicle Settings in the information display menu. There is a “memory” setting where it is supposed to remember the regen setting, but it seems to work intermittently for me… often it remembers, but occasionally will reset to level 1 and I have not figured out why. 🤷♂️. Unfortunately, this setting can only be modified when the car is stopped, which is a design mistake IMO. I don’t know why Toyota doesn’t allow the driver to increase the regen level by simply pulling the shifter into B mode repetitively… seems obvious to me. Perhaps Toyota may issue a software update? Won’t hold my breath, though… it is a very minor feature, as I rarely use B mode, mostly flat where I live.
