I do completely believe that CanAm technicians are required to watch your videos on how to repair and upgrade parts before they are certified. Great info.
You’re so funny. Nice compliment, thank you!
Now that looked like a really difficult job. Thank for leaving in and pointing out what not to do. Another amazing video!!
Awwww thanks!!!
I like how you show your fails along with your successful steps. I think you have the best DIY on CZcams. God bless.
Wow! Thank you so much! I truly appreciate that!!!
We're glad it was nothing too serious and no one got hurt! But that's a great PDA: Don't bump into people (or other things!)
So true! Crazy!! Lol
Thanks for this video! I am fairly new to my Ryker but have been using the neutral to park from the get-go. I almost bet that even seasoned riders can have this happen easily. Neutral is my friend for sure
Glad it was helpful! Yes, neutral is very useful’
Great video as always ❤️your channel has really grown since I first started following you. That’s a good thing because so many people are buying rykers.
Thank you so much Nicky!!!! ❤️
Girl you have a lot of patience 🤦🏻♂️👍🏻✨
Only with my bike! Lol
THANK YOU SO MUCH for another awesome video!!! I truly couldn’t have done it without you and this video! So grateful for you and your channel!
Wow! Thank you Jane for your kind words!!
You’re my hero!!! The seller had a mishap on my Ryker and I need to change my fenders. Love the “realistic” step by step!
Thanks so much Louie!!!! I really appreciate it the comment!!!
your bike looks beautiful, thanks for show,Fred.
Thanks Fred!!
I appreciate how you do your videos. It's realistic..
Thanks Gail. I try to keep it real. If I can do it, so can you….is my motto!
Another good reason not to disengage the backup beeping sound on a Ryker I'd say. I'm glad you and the rest of your bike were ok.
Absolutely!!! Thanks for watching!!
I am usually much quicker at replying!!! Been crazy busy building my new website: www.RykerRydes.com check it out.
How could we be anything but kind Beth👍🏻✨
You are always so kind!
Just watched your video and found it very informative and appreciate you showing the all to real struggle . I had to remove the fender on my 21 Ryker to fix a wire problem. I did notice that on your fender it didn’t have a metal clip holding the wire to inside of the fender almost directly under the turn signal. If you go to my channel and watch my first post you can see how it kept popping off and how I fixed it. You might want to take a look under the other fender to see if yours is missing or it’s not on your years model. If the clip is missing it can cause the wire to rub on the tire and cause a failure or fault. The main reason those bolts are so hard to take off is the factory thread lock they use. I saw you had some blue loktite and wondered if you used it when you bolted the fender back on. I have one last piece of advice is don’t use a ratchet when screwing into plastic only use a screwdriver with a torx bit. The ratchet has to much leverage it’s all to easy to strip the threads in the plastic. Ok maybe one last piece of advice. If you plan on gluing to old parts CLEAN THEM FIRST glue doesn’t grip to dirt and use epoxy instead of instant glue . Keep those videos coming.
Great tips. Thank you so much and I really appreciate you watching!!
My tire fell into a hole and my fender was damaged, including the cable that connects the turn signal to the inside of the wheel. Do you know the part number I could reorder this cable with? , I mean the cable of min 29:01
Great video📽📽 I seen that before, forgot it was in reverse luckily they didn`t hit anything!
Happens A LOT!
i know accidents all to well, great job
Thanks Keith!
Excellent video, please also check the alignment of the bike.
Good point.
Thanks for the video
You wouldn’t happen to have a link to the parts you ordered I tried the website you mentioned and the site didn’t load
I believe all part numbers are mentioned in video. If you call Russell at MotoMember he can assist you. Tell him I sent you. +1 (703) 552-9988
Ps sorry for my delayed response, I am still on my bike trip.
I hate this happened to you twice!! Should you have your battery disconnected when removing wire connections or at least have the key off? I noticed at the first when you tightened in on the fender that your halo skid was still lit but you had already separated one of the the connections. I hate working with electronics cause I'm always terrified I will mess something up lol. Great video! I always appreciate your including your struggles so we know what not to do! Love ya to pieces Beth! Thanks as always!
Thanks so much Heather!!! ❤️
Another great video. I really do like your style! I don't have a Ryker, so I'll probably never have to replace a fender, but figured I'd watch the video anyway. I really do like the farmer's tan. Good stuff :-) Question, where did you get that halo shop light. I Googled around and couldn't find anything similar.
Thanks Dave. Here’s a link to what I have: amzn.to/3rA3xto
@@RykerRydes Thank you for the link!
Love watching your videos. You are a WORRIOR woman....
Wow! Thanks Juan!
pls i in my cuntry (saudi arabia) can not finde tires saiz 16R 60/ 145 so can you make a video abute if we can but big tiers size like 16R 205/60 ? Pls help😢😢
Hello. Thank you for for watching all the way from Saudi Arabia. I am not sure about tire sizes. But I do know you’re able to put car tires on the ryker, if that helps? They don’t have to be specific motorcycle tires.
Thank you for this! Mine was hit by a harley trike that somehow didn't notice I was there (he was literally in my pack)and rolled up along my left leg and plowed into my front fender from behind and that split the plastic pretty badly. I'm looking at a website now trying to get the parts that I need. It looks like I only need the 2 sections of plastic and the red reflector decal. I'm not too sure what all of the additional parts are but my lights are good. Any suggestions? Also, is that back piece included or will I need to order that additionally?
Sorry I am usually much quicker at replying!!! Been crazy busy building my new website: www.RykerRydes.com check it out.
Where you able to get everything ordered and figured out?
@@RykerRydes parts are ordered and a few friends have volunteered to assist with the repair.
neutral with parking brake
The pvc.......'cheater bar.'......probably doesn't need to that long and you might bump
into something with it. It also looks like your pvc is schedule 40, and schedule 20
is thicker and might be stronger, but the point about safety glasses is a good idea.
Lube usually makes things easier, (insert joke here), and you can generally
use liquid soap on a plastic part like you have there. Nice job.
Thanks Steve. Great tips.
Excellent video quality and easy to follow instructions.

💯 facts!!
I have found the best way is to take it to a professional so its covered if anything goes wrong
That is definitely one way to go. I love working on my bike. I find it relaxing.
My tire fell into a hole and my fender was damaged, including the cable that connects the turn signal to the inside of the wheel. Do you know the part number I could reorder this cable with? , I mean the cable of min 29:01
Sorry I don’t know that part number. Check cheapcycleparts.com. If you still can’t find it, I can put you in touch with a dealership I use. Lmk
Hello where did you purchase fender from?
Moto Member dealership. They were awesome!!
Can you please tell me the name of the parts place where I can get a left and right fender for my wife can am thanks.
Try Russell in the parts department at MotoMember dealership in PA.
What is right side or what is left side on a ryker did u replace the right side 🤔
I'm Guessing it was the right side
Yes, it was the right side
I’ve had mine in neutral and it popped into gear that scares me 🙆🏻♂️. I have a shifter kit on mine. I think the weight of the shifter can make it pop into gear🤷🏻♂️
That’s interesting 🤔
Nice job miss barefoot! The back side of that tip light still looks so empty.. I got it stuffed full with connections bcus of those slingmods led indicators and 1:2 harness. Way to much wires for such a small space tbh.
Btw you did not route the tip light cable back trough the hole in the fender under the light. I'd go back and make sure that cable is routed correctly or taped out of the way like you mentioned in the video!
You are 💯 right! Good eye!! Thank you!
Replace front lights in can am Ryker
I already have. I have a video on it as well.
I hope the person that hit you paid for everything. Good video
ABSOLUTELY!!! Thanks for watching!
Sorry this happened to you again. And I hope folks take your PSA to heart. My sincere apology again for the love tap that my bike gave yours. It was a tight spot. Another thing that I realized in my short time of owning a CanAm is not to try something you don’t think you’re capable of. So if someone says, “you can squeeze into that space” and you don’t think you can - DON’T. 💫✨💫
💯 right!!! Ps I still love you!!
Did she offer to fix or pay for your fender?
Short answer… yes.
🖤🖤🖤🐺👍Perfekt Beth👍lg raven
Thank you!
Ooooooooo. Coooool
Great job you are doing a great job 9love your videos
T H A N K S ❤️
HOPE you are all ok👍 and happy . ❤️
Thank you so much Theodore!
Did the person who hit your bike pay you anything for damages
Yes, after a little bit of chasing
This question is for Ryker rides and anyone else that wants to comment. I asked my condo if I can have a motorcycle and they said yes. So I went and took the three wheel motorcycle class and passed then put a $500 deposit on the 2022 Ryker sport and bought $600 in riding protective gear. I just found out something this week they did not tell me before and it is I am not allowed to cover my Ryker. We have no parking at the condo to store cars or motorcycles under a covering.. I should say I live in south Florida. Renting a storage place is out of the question because to me the monthly fee would make ownership to expensive over ten years and not be cost effective. My question to you is how will the can am Ryker stand up to the elements in south Florida without a protective cover
Sorry to hear that. Yes, the Florida sun and salt air are killers. I would wrap your bike as soon as you get it. That is like having a permanent cover. Another option is to constantly put a clear coat on the bike to protect it from fading.
@@RykerRydes thanks for getting back to me I found out they started not allowing bike covers in May of this year. I am going in front of the board in January and if I can't get the rule changed I will revert my interest into something else
Super glue and baking soda to fix broken tab
Great tip!!
Be careful on that PVC could shatter wear your safety glasses
Smart! Tanks for looking out.
Broken tab use a glue gun.Glue it up heavy👍🏻 or silicone but with a glue gun you just hold it for 30 seconds and it’ll stick.
You are 💯 right!! Thanks for the tip!
You missed the most difficult part… taking that lens off and put it on the actual new fender :(… i’m stuck right there…
Why don't you wear shoes, if something falls on your foot or feet you're done.. Nice color on the toes though
I live in Florida..too hot for shoes. lol
