Sting has never had anyone's voice trump his own voice on any stage. At 70, when this was recorded, the tantric master may indeed be reaching the end of his life cycle in music. It's one of the longest runs of any master, but all good things must come to an end eventually. It happened to Sinatra, Martin, Darrin, and so many more before them.
For me personally, this marks a sad occasion. Throughout my entire life, Sting has been an ever-present influence to me musically. When he is done performing, that will truly mark an end to an era. An era in which, his fame gave him the luxury of bringing some of the best musicians together, to play along with him, no matter their style of music, or background. No modern artist posses that same lure.
