Part 2 is even better. It was so nice to see Stephen & Linda together again. I'd love to see more of this reunion if you're able to upload it, but if not, I'm glad I got to see this much. It's truly great and a must see for every ANOTHER WORLD fan.
Even when they don't have to act. Linda and Steven have chemistry. Brother/Sister Chemistry.
Although I take nothing away from Linda Dano, I really felt that Victoria Wyndham should have "hosted". Also, AW made history by having it's first "crossover" Character when Mike Bauer from GL came to Bay City to work for John Randolph. The show was struggling in the ratings and they needed a familiar "character" to beef ratings up.
Vicky Wyndham was not happy about the show ending and to put it mildly she really wanted nothing to do with the reunion show at all - still bitter about it
What they should have done is talk about it's origins. How it was Co Created by Irna Phillips and Bill Bell (RIP) who left to do Y & R in 1973. I didn't know about Victoria Wyndham but in my opinion when Another World ended, it was the beginning of Soaps Downfall as far as I'm concerned. Also Proctor & Gamble were known to discriminate against Blacks, and Older Actors and what they did to Michael Zaslow who wrote for the show as well as Roger Thorpe on Guiding Light after he had ALS was disgraceful. I told UK Soap Fans about it and they were outraged. The UK Soaps would have dealt with it, no questions asked. They have Wheelchair bound Actors, Trans Actors/Actresses, Kids with Down's Syndrome and one who plays an Autistic Little Boy and fans love them for it because they see it's not only them dealing with it.
