Beth, I had decided to get the Veronica Beard Dickey blazer, having seen it on a few influencers. When I went to the site to order, I discovered it is constructed of polyester. For the price, I was disappointed and decided against it. It looks fantastic on you, but it would turn me into a sweat factory.
I would recommend you try the jacket first then decide. It’s a bestseller for a reason polyester and all.
Natural fabrics for me, they are friendly with my body and the environment.
Maybe you’d like the Hosanna linen blazer? When I bought my Veronica Beard linen Dickey Hosanna blazer, my son-in-law said it was the best looking blazer he’s seen on me! I’m a 5’2” size 14 for reference.

I agree with you. The Veronica Beard blazer, in principle, is great but the fabric is cheap. I hate polyester! It’s so uncomfortable.

It's a classic blazer that stands the test of time.

Lovely video Beth. I have a shorter knee length and a the midi length trench coat. I recently ordered a cropped one and love it. I also have the amazon slingbacks in the all navy and the all black color because I have others in the two tone. But they are so beautiful and so comfy. I love them. I just ordered three different denim shirts and the last one arrived today. So I have to try them all on tonight and decide wich one I want to keep. Or maybe all three who knows. They are all three different washes and different weights so you never know. Ty so much for another great video.

I use to live in a 4 season state but moved to Goldilocks weather state, beautiful one day and perfect the next 😁 unless it pours down like crazy and then stops like it never rained ☔️ so humidity is a factor 😊

Enjoyed this very much. Love what you are wearing. I have a nice bright green cotton blouse from Chico's that I can wear with a pair of mid wash jeans. My shoe choices are limited to loafers or sneakers at this time. What do you suggest : black suede vionic flat loafers ( very simple and plain style) navy, blue faux leather penny loafers, silver sneaker ( skecher) or off white patent leather look Franco Sarto loafers with a tassel. I love all the white T's, but I have hard water and they seem to get dingy and dull after a while. I usually just buy mid range to cheaper white T's so that I don't feel so bad when I have to toss them!
Same! Even the most expensive white tees get dingy, so this is the one item I buy several times a year.
Try bluing in the wash when you launder your whites!
I will soak mine in Oxy-Clean.

Try Borax. I have hard water and it goes in every load.

Love the dickey blazer…I have the black, but would love the navy as the dickies to zip inside are pretty much interchangeable between the blue and black. So cute and beautiful quality. I love a good sale, but sometimes ya get what you pay for!!
I’m 83 and over the years I have accumulated at least 80% of the basics. The styles I will not wear are faded jeans (my thighs are too heavy) . I wear dark blue, black or white jeans. I also refuse to buy the shredded look. That is poverty from my childhood and I will not relive those days. Fashion is beauty and style but certain trends are ugly and it reminds me of the emperor who wore no clothes.
We know what looks good but we are pulled into the nonsense called fashion.

I enjoyed this video and I appreciate you for sharing the relevant styles for women over 50. What would you suggest for someone, me, who likes a sling back shoe but ankles are challenged to be properly supported by this shoe style?
I would try a slingback with a block heel that gives extra support.

My major problem with White t's is:
I can only wear them once due to my foundation makeup rubbing off.🥴🥴

I can't wear white. It washes me out.
Jeans may be ok if you have a totally FLAT belly. If not the zipper and button sticks out and draws attention to the belly you are trying to hide. If you have a big belly, the zipper jiggles, folds, and looks funny. Don't buy into jeans!
