    3:34 I used the same receipt for my Afrika Korps. I use 2 drops for soft tone with 3 drops of water for a Skeleton bone base or I use 2 drops of strong tone with 3 drops of water for a desert yellow base.

    Awesome as always! Your comments on the crew movement over the vehicle I think is particularly great because it's not something a lot of people think about often. Combined with the effort put into weathering coming from the terrain this makes me want to see a muddy Eastern Front T-34 with bootprint tracking up and down on the tank. Methinks when I get into BA This might be on the Agenda 😉

    You can always blame the "wrong" color on kiwi contrarian-ness. SOmeone told them to repaint their equipment, and they said no. So they sent some already green-painted equipment, hoping that either they'd repaint things to match, or things would get greener with time and wear-and-tear. Well, they were half right, the kiwis did repaint *some* of their equipment... :p

    A non-historic 15 foot tall battle cattle tank I'm sorry I can't watch. Haha great video I still need to get into that game but my Black Templar is winning my time. Thank you for the video and all the hard work.

    It's just not available were I am in regular paint form

    • @SonicSledgehammerStudio
      @SonicSledgehammerStudio  Před 2 lety +1

      What's 'regular paint,' though? 😅 Anything which is just off-black will work fine. Something like Corvus Black from Citadel, or just mix a dark grey with a few drops of black.

  • @richardrussell7082

    When you explained your choice of wash tone it seems disjointed and didn't really explain your choice of one over the other.
    The part "...if I were to use Seraphim Sepia, for example, and water that down..." seems incomplete, like it was just dropped into the middle of the line, or is it just me missing something?
    There does, however, appear to be an edit cut there.

    • @SonicSledgehammerStudio
      @SonicSledgehammerStudio  Před 2 lety +1

      Whoops. Might have been that I'd cut something a little early. Ultimately I was hoping to get rid of the mention of Seraphim Sepia since I'd chosen Soft Tone for a specific reason on flow and coverage, so it seemed redundant to mention what wasn't going to do what I wanted.

  • @theyawningowlbear6758
