Besides “JJ” for Joe Junior, I also like “Dottie” for the little girl with all the spots and “Biscuit” for the little boy the color of dough. They’re adorable. 🥰

Country / farm kids are so much more grounded then those that are not raised in a farm setting. The fact that Mary Carl was not just willing to be there but actually help just about tells the whole story. Maybe that’s not impressive to some folks.. but young people like Mary Carl give me a bit of hope for the future. It’s a shame all young people aren’t farm raised

I was at a petting farm one day and one of the goats was acting really strange. I went to one of the workers there and told her and they Immediately cleared the farm area out of visitors because the goat was ready to deliver. I asked note worker if I could stay and watch and she said okay. The goat had twins. It was so amazing to watch those tiny babies get right up and walk to their momma to nurse. I went back to the farm a couple of days later and those babies were jumping and running. Too cute.

We've had dairy goats for over 20 years in Central Florida. When our does have their kids, we give the ladies a bowl of molasses water, 1/4 to 1/2 cup of molasses to at least half gallon of water. Gives them some energy and a treat for a job well done.
Everytime Jason says, "OH MY GRACIOUS." It makes my heart SMILE 😊 I absolutely love y'all❣
