nic maeder is a great singer he had his own band back in australia and done work for many of the best musicans he is of swiss background but born and bred australian and resided in south australia we all use to steve even i was a late comer but give this guy a chance he is as good just we need to accept

Ich habe Gotthard vorgestern live in Schupfart erlebt und muss sagen, dass mir die Stimme und die Art des neuen Sängers gefallen hat, ein sehr sympathischer Typ! Klar war Steve gut, aber Nic ist auch gut. Gotthard spielten laut und sehr rockig (nur 2 -3 Balladen), was mir sehr gut gefallen hat = Headbanging :-)

Ich denke, dass Gotthard ohne Steve Lee nie mehr das sein wird, was sie mal waren... Das liegt einfach daran, dass er eine riesiege Lücke hinterlässt und auch nur sehr wenige Menschen gleichzeitig eine wahnsinns Stimme, wie auch eine sagenhafte Ausstrahlung besitzen.
Gleichzeitig muss man aber auch sehen, dass sie in Nic Maeder sowohl vom Voice, als auch vom Typ her eine sehr gute Wahl getroffen haben. Mal schauen was daraus wird.
Ich für meinen Teil wünsche den Jungs von Herzen alles Gute!

Also, for the people saying this isn't good, wait for the full album. They had to release a music video of one of their songs and they chose a ballad, which is a good way to show the ability of the singer. When the album comes, we'll be able to listen to the other new songs and then judge accordingly.

In my opinion, no one can be replaced easily, but from a music point of view, he is the right choice to replace Steve after his unfortunate demise (may he rest in peace).

There is one member change that will make or break a band. In this case, like Warrant & a few others, because of death there is no choice. Gotthard made a good decision. Given the circumstances they made a right choice to keep moving on. RIP Steve & keep it up Nick.
