Danzo played a vital role in Naruto. I mean we wouldn't have had the great Itachi and Pain it it wasn't of him.

An interesting alternative to this would be, what if Nagato and Konan weren’t broken by Yahiko’s death.
Basically what if they held true to his ideals, and didn’t go down the path they did.

What if Tobirama miraculously _survived_ his final battle with the Gold and Silver Brothers, and the Kinkaku Squad? I mean, he _already_ passed his title as Hokage down to Hiruzen... but ex-Kage's have an outsized influence on their Villages. What would change with Tobirama still hanging around in the background?
Hiruzen will grow balls. Damzo will be more tamed but Uchiha will still die.
@@kaceycat3661 Nah with Danzo and potentially other village elders being weakened and having less influence the Uchia will have a bit more freedoms and plus Itachi would not be manipulated by Danzo.

Hidan wouldn't have been old enough for the 3rd ninja was, He's around Itachi's age. I always found it unique when people don't think yahiko was powerful or perhaps versatile. I always kind of viewed him as the Jiraiya of his group. I believe he was the strongest in his crew until his death. As always great video and concept

Actually, I think that as soon as Obito sees that he's gonna lose, he would just Kamui himself out of there.
There are so many different takes and alternative routes that could be taken from Yahiko not dying. There are probably 10's - 100's of Fanfictions about this in specific. It is impossible to know exactly what would've happened if he didn't die, but there are probably great theories that are realistic somewhere out there.
You can also say in canon that Yahiko never died, as Nagato never forgot about him, and never gave up on his dream. (Even if he was manipulated into doing a bastardized version of it)

Technically the only requirement for the cycle to end is for both reincarnations to lose the will to hate the other when they die, its called the cycle of hate for a reason
@@ericwalsh2954 yeah but peace wasn’t really established worldwide yet there was just a precedent between the Leaf and Rain so as they grow up they could have differing opinions on how to bring peace. Just like how madara and Hashirama didn’t always hate each other. Also I’m pretty sure the cycle of hate is considered the duality of man by madara so I don’t think it has anything to do with Indra and ashura. I could be wrong though
IMO. Obito is a good counter to Hanzo. Like I get your poison dust argument, which is valid. But Obito would just look at the Salamander and take the control over it and use it to fight Hanzo. Who, as we saw, a close range fighter with that weapon he has. And Kamui counters that too.
So honestly, it's either Obito genjutsues the Salamander or he can genjutsu Hanzo too and GG, tbh. I know Obito isn't really a genjutsu focused fighter, like Itachi. But I mean he totally could do it, IMO.
Honestly I thought the what if videos were a little bit corny at first but you've done them so well that I'm genuinely intrigued when they pop up thank you for doing what you do man you're still amazing!!
Whatever happened to Itachi's Yata mirror and Totsuka Blade? Nagato's soul is still trapped within the blade in an eternal drunken dream. Sealing jutsu are incredibly scary because ninja heaven is a real place and having your soul sealed when you are alive robs you of your afterlife aswell. Where did Itachi's weapons go after his death and who had them before him? Orochimaru new of their existence which implies someone else owned them before Itachi. What if Nagato is brought back during the Boruto era with Kaguya (remember Kaguya isn't dead, she's sealed within another dimension inside a big moon rock).

I just love this channel and the discussions these videos spawn. Not only are the videos high quality and make a lot of sense taking in a ton of factors, but the comments can be just as knowledgeable some times. I love this series so much, but I rarely see this side of the fandom.
I thought Fugaku becoming the 4th was my favorite What If but this is contending with it. A chance for peace to be achieved without Naruto ever getting involved.
I feel the way you talk about naruto story lines that you could make your own anime and it would be the most interesting thing ever with all the twist and turns you give us on a day to day basis.

Hm, when Danzo met Hanzo, he had his eye covered. If Danzo had Shisui's eye already, it could be possible that he manipulated Hanzo, as he tried to manipulate Mifune with his eye. It can explain why Hanzo who initially fought for peace became more selfish. It is not him, its just Kotoamatsukami, from which he could never break. If it is real, then in the war arc Hanzo and Mifune were the two, who experienced Kotoamatsukami xD

No man,not possible. He gets Shisui's eye around just a little bit before the Uchiha massacre while Yahiko died during the 3rd Great Ninja War.
He had a different sharingan not Shisuis.
This was before the nine tailed fox, which is what lead to the Uchiha planning the coup, which is what lead Shisui to Say he was going to use Koto of Fugaku to stop it.
Then Danzo took his eye
Incorrect, This seems to be around the time of the 3GNW, as Danzo has not 'injured' his arm. (He had his arm hidden when he 'fought' Shisui as well, so we can presume it was injured during/around the 3GNW) He also appears to have a much more youthful appearance (He seems to look 45 - 55, and when Danzo fought Shisui he appears to be in his mid 60's) He also used a Sharingan against Shisui, so we know that he had one before the Massacre, this confirms this event happens before/around Naruto's birth
@@Edited_Comment canonically, Danzo never used a sharingan against Shisui (something we know thanks to Itachi Shinden, the scene in the anime where Danzo uses Izanagi against Shisui and proceeds to humiliate him is filler), so we can't tell if he already had a sharingan or not in that moment

I would love to hear about what is happening on the leaf village side during and after these events. Especially since despite these events, Sasuke and Naruto are still the reincarnations of Indra and Ashura. Even without the presence of Black Zetsu, his past actions will still affect other events as well. Also, Tanari and the Otsotsuki still exist and will come into play eventually. Then again, coming up with a lot of the story on the leaf side would probably be more speculation than anything at that point, especially as the storyline progressed further along the timeline.
